Beachfront near Valencia

Enjoy the tranquility of a unique Natural Park. 15 km from Valencia 12 km from the City of Arts and Sciences and the Oceanographic Museum Connected by bus to the city center and with a bike path The space This is a 170m2 apartment facing the sea, located within the Natural Park La Dehesa - El Saler. We think it's lovely for families wanting a beach, nature and history vacation; a group of friends seeking time to catch up or even couples looking for a romantic break away from the city hustle and bustle. It's about 12km from the city of Valencia. It has a beautiful terrace overlooking the beach - perfect for a relaxing breakfast at dawn or quiet dinners under the moonlight! There is a spacious sunny lounge too, and a formal classic dinning area. Of the three cosy bedrooms, two have double beds, and the third one has twin beds that can be joined together. There is a corner bathtub in one of the full bathrooms and an enclosed shower on the smaller one. The kitchen features pale wood and white tiled floor to maximize the natural light coming through its full length window. There is a microwaves, good size new fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and gas hobs. This wonderful flat is part of a development with access to an open air swimming pool, a small playground, football and basketball courts, and plenty of parking space. The beach in front, a 5 mins walk, is sandy with dunes. There are showers at the beach as well as at the main entrance of the block of flats to rinse off the sand and salt. El Saler is a great area to enjoy the peace of a natural park while having quick access to visit the historic center of Valencia, the City of Science, the Aquarium, etc. Please have in mind that public transport is very limited, and a car is often a better option. The Natural Park El Saler was owned by the kings of Spain, and given by King Alfonso XIII in 1911 to the city of Valencia. On July 28th of 1986 it was declared Natural Park and therefore further construction within its boundaries was forbidden. At about 3km you will find the small village of El Saler. You can walk or bike along the pine forest if you don't feel like taking the car. There is a pharmacy, a bakery, some supermarkets and restaurants where you can taste the best rice of Valencia. Nearby there is a lake, the Albufera of Valencia, where there are excursions available on board traditional boats used by sailors in the area since ancient times. The lake is surrounded by rice fields that glitter in the sun when they are flooded, and reflect the red sunsets in the evening - we love this sight! There is a bus stop 5 mins walk from the flat, but the bus only comes every 30 mins. It continues all the way to El Perello. And on the other direction, it stops at El Saler and then continues to Valencia. There is an express bus that goes straight to Valencia, and a slower one that stops in several villages along the way. Guest access Guests visiting us will have the entire house and the services of the development: swimming pool, children's play area, soccer fields and gardens.
