Hemals homestay,humble and peaceful abode is our home away from the city, situated right across the Tata dam in Maval Taluka,ahead of Kamshet. It is also where we cultivate plants for our nursery called 'Floraland Nursery' in Mumbai's Bandra West area, so it is a treat for plant lovers. The area is blissfully breezy through the year ,cool to chilly from July to February. During monsoons the mountainous landscape dotted with numerous waterfalls is a beautiful sight,Winters are cool and refreshing The space Hemals is a homestay that is created with lot of love, passion and is very special to us.We open the doors of our home to people who enjoy nature and slow living. On a typical day one would wake up to birdsong, go up the hill for a hike, be treated to the rustle of leaves over some good home-cooked vegetarian food and go for a stroll by the dam in the evening to feel one with nature. Welcome to the rustic life! Room : @ Cyan *Cyan represents a shade of blue colour( colour of the sky). *It is located on 1st floor ( need to take stairs). *It is 216 sq ft room ( 1 room) with 1 queen size bed , 2 full size single beds and wardrobe to put/ hang your clothes or things. Bathroom. Bathroom is compact and has all the amenities one needs to be comfortable. ------------------------------------- Please note there are 2 rooms on the first floor @Jade and @Cyan, they are separate but adjoining units ( they are separate listings which have their own individual bookings) with individual private attached bathroom and entrance. Guests from Jade and Cyan rooms have access to a large common terrace which overlooks the waterbody and mountains. It serves as dinning and outdoor sitting area. The terrace area is equipped with games like Ludo,Carrom, Chess . It has a two seater wooden swing, one single bed and a sofa cum bed for outdoor sleeping experience or just for relaxing. We are 138 kms n about 3-3.5 hours away from Bombay ( Powai) & 57 kms / 1.5 hours away from Pune (Baner). You can also sign up for a workshop on basics of plant care,at extra cost. IDEAL FOR: 1. Families looking for a getaway. 2.Women travellers 3.People who love being admist nature and enjoy slow living. 4. People who are plant lovers , bird watchers. 5. People who want to enjoy nature,slow living and want to work from home( workation) . NOT SUITED: 1. Families with elders( have stairs to reach the rooms) 2. Very large groups or people who need steady Hi-speed internet connection. 3. people who like loud music/party/roomservice/buffet or people who want services offered by professionally run resort/hotel. 4. We don't have any amenities for driver's travelling with you. NOTE: # This is one room within a whole home. # There are no good restaurants or delivery option available as we are located remotely , so we serve simple local VEGETARIAN meal on SET MENU basis it is available at an extra cost of 950/-person which includes 1 lunch,1dinner, 1 breakfast. # The payment for the above is to be done at the time of booking. #We generate most of our energy via solar power, for hot bathing water we use electricity as solar power is not enough to run the geysers. #We have a plunge pool(11×17ft), depth of 21/2 ft at one end and 4 ft at other end #We compost our wet waste. For dry and plastic waste there is no garbage disposal,we have tied up with a local "Raddiwala" to pick up and send it to Pune for recycling,so please be responsible about the waste you generate. # Please don't flush any used tampons etc , dustbins are provided for the same in the bathrooms. Guest access First Floor hosts 2 rooms Cyan and Jade next to each other. This is the listing for room Cyan only. Guests from both the rooms, Jade and Cyan, have access to a large terrace overlooking the waterbody which has a swing,outdoor seating, dinning area, boardgames( chess,ludo, carrom). -The terrace, garden,dinning and sitting areas are shared spaces. Great way to know your fellow travellers !! -We, my family and I live on the ground floor and work in our nursery when we are at Hemals. - We have a plunge pool(11×17ft), depth of 21/2 ft at one end and 4 ft at other end. - For hygiene purposes Guests donot have access to the kitchen to cook meals. During your stay We enjoy meeting our guests . We also value their and our privacy/space. We are available for any questions thru phone or in person. Please feel free to connect. Other things to note -There is a flght of stairs to reach the rooms. - OnlyJio network is operational in this area. We suggest you download the map offline to reach the property. Mobile network maybe patchy due to the location. -The property is surrounded with nature and once in a while, you might observe some insects in and around the place . In that case, please feel free to inform the caretaker.  - Please keep the netlons of the rooms closed at all times to avoid any insects entering the rooms. - Considering the unique location of the property, electricity can get affected due to falling of trees, heavy rains or other causes. - Kitchen is not for guests to use,it is for our use exclusively. We are a pure vegetarian property , non veg and outside food is not allowed. -There are no proper restaurants or eating joints and hence we provide simple,local vegetarian wholesome meals (no eggs) on SET MENU basis( curated by the host, check with the host for details) at a set time. 1 lunch,1 dinner ,1 breakfast at Rs 950/- per person. Payment to be done in advance. - Last minute food requests/ changes cannot be accommodated as ours is a remote place with nearest market being 45 min away( one way). -You may encounter some noise/music during festive times from nearby villages ,which is beyond our control. - During your stay don't hesitate to contact us for any issues. - We don't provide any amenities for the Driver's travelling with you.
