You'll find the market, the best pizza in town and typical traditional restaurants The space The apartment consists of a large living room with an LCD smart TV, a comfortable sofa, a comfortable table, and a nice equipped kitchen. To sleep, you will find a double bedroom in the first room, two single beds in the second room, and a double sofa bed for 2 in the living room to comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The spacious bathroom, with two sinks and a large shower, is the ultimate in comfort. The house is completed by a lovely balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. Let's discover this "de Roma" district and why you should visit it at least once. Where Testaccio is located and how it is connected Let's start with the practical aspect: its location. Testaccio is central and very convenient for visiting Rome, whether you are planning only a weekend or a few more days. Served by both Metro B (the Piramide stop is about a kilometer away) and by trams and buses, from Testaccio, you can walk to the center without too much effort. Testaccio: mini itinerary and what not to miss You will need a full day to visit and experience the neighborhood in all its essence. Starting from Piazza Testaccio, head towards Via Galvani. The first recommended stop to get in touch with the roots of the place is Monte Testaccio, also known as Monte dei Cocci, which can be visited by appointment. The very interesting walk runs along the mound that has been formed since Roman times by the accumulation of the so-called "testae", or amphorae, the symbol of Testaccio, which, once emptied of their contents at the nearby Porto Fluviale (in the Ostiense area), were deposited right there, no longer being able to be reused. After the market, to find it, just continue along Via Zabaglia and then turn left onto Via Caio Cestio.
