Guest access You are welcome to use the kitchen, laundry, dining room and lounge areas of the house and the gardens outside. There is parking for a car. During your stay I do like interaction and will want to receive you to welcome you and show you around the house. For longer staying guests I will typically take you out for a drink or a meal to our favourite pub, on your last night as a farewell gesture. Other things to note There are accounts for Netflix & Binge on the Smart TV in your room and good broadband wifi. *** Facilities update March ‘23: your room room has been fitted with reverse-cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable all year round, summer and winter. There is a floor-standing fan (powerful) if you prefer to sleep with one in summer. ** Eco Update May ‘22: my hot water system is now supplied by rain water during winter time when it is our rain season. Lovely, soft rain water in the bath and shower. Electricity supplied by solar panels during daytime - powers the air conditioning during our long, hot summers without a guilty conscience.
