The space Bahari studio apartment is a beautiful self-catered beach front gem in a serene secured gated community with a direct access to the beach and a view of the ocean from the balcony. It is located at Golden Sun Resort in Diani,which is a 4.5 km distance from Ukunda airstrip and a 7 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket, Carrefour. The apartment is fully equiped with quality appliances and furniture and has an unlimited parking and access to the swimming pool and the beach. Jet skiing, kite surfing and bicycle riding are some of the sporting activities available in the area. The building complex used to be a resort,now converted into rental unites with minor progressive exterior renovations. The AC unit in the room is turned off and hence,not listed as part of the amenities Cleaning We offer free cleaning with no additional charge to you on a daily basis. Laundry We don't offer free laundry services at the studio. However, you can contact us and our cleaning lady will offer laundry services for you at a small fee. How to get here If you are travelling through SGR (Nairobi to Mombasa terminus) Once you get to SGR ,Mombasa terminus there are Ukunda-Diani shuttles at the exit available everytime the SGR arrives at the terminus. This is both at 2pm and also at night 8pm. They carry people from the SGR all the way to Ukunda. This includes passing through the Ferry. Once you get to Ukunda (the last stop), get a tuktuk and tell them to take you to Golden Sun which is about 5 minutes drive from Ukunda. Alternatively, you can request the shuttle driver to drop you off at the resort for an additional charge. If you are travelling from Mombasa Get to Likoni through the Ferry. Then take a matatu from Likoni which goes to Ukunda. Or drive to Ukunda. From Ukunda you can take a tuk tuk to Golden Sun Resort. If you are flying to Ukunda airport Once you fly to Ukunda airstrip, the studio is about 11 minutes drive from the airport. You can request for an Uber or a Taxi and it will drop at the resort. to note Please Note: The apartment is situated within an old hotel unit, which has been converted to rental apartments. We have some parts which have renovations and repairs ongoing. We have guests who love the place as it is and they overlook the exterior and some guests who prefer newer places.. Nevertheless, we guarantee a comfortable, well equipped and tranquil space. Some off peak months tend to have less people within the compound as most homes are owned by owners who tend to only visit during their vacation break, but during the peak months there's huge groups within the residence.
