Saou – House on stilts, view, village and river

On the edge of the picturesque village of Pont de Barret in the Drôme Provençale, passive house made entirely of wood and ecological materials with splendid views of the surrounding woods and fields on one side and the village on the other. 10 minutes from Saou, rivers and Eyzahut swimming pool, 20 minutes from Dieulefit. The spacious single-story house, ideal for families or groups of friends. A huge terrace to the south shaded by a large oak tree, a more intimate one under the stilts. It's a carefully furnished artist's house. The space The 105 m2 house includes a large, very bright living room (with equipped kitchen, dining area for 6 people, living area with stove), 3 bedrooms, including 1 master suite with bathroom and dressing room, the other 2 bedrooms (2 people + 1 person) share a shower room. 1 toilet + 1 technical room. The style is contemporary and warm, beautiful materials, designer and vintage furniture, art objects and library for your enjoyment. The rooms to the south overlook a huge terrace perched and equipped with outdoor furniture. A staircase leads to the large sloping plot on the south side, and to another terrace, more intimate under the house. At the entrance, on the north side, a small flat plot with vegetable garden in containers. Absolute calm and different areas more or less sunny depending on the needs of the day. The house has no swimming pool or air conditioning, it is an ecological and conscious choice. A terrace shower, shady corners and evening "drafts" make it perfectly pleasant. Numerous swimming proposals in the surrounding area (and from April to June, the Roubion, a river that flows through the village, is a famous swimming spot) Guest access A ceramic workshop is adjacent to the house, with its own entrance and terrace to the east, but not rented. I might be there during the week. Other things to note The configuration of the house on sloping land and on stilts offers an exceptional view but is not very suitable for young children (under 5 years old). No animals please. From July to September, minimum rental of one week, from Saturday to Saturday.
