Maison Maeva; Entire Stone House In Quiet Hamlet.

The recently renovated detached cottage is located in the hamlet of Samis in the heart of Millevaches in Limousin. The living room has an angled sofa and a single unfolding bed for children if required. Lakes' St Helene and Vassivière and the local Plage on The River Maulde have small beaches. Local towns of Eymoutiers, Peyrat le Chateaux and Bujaleuf are all approx. 8km. The space The three storey detached cottage is a recently renovated 1 bedroom home and is fully equipped. All linens are supplied. The house is not be suitable for people with restricted mobility as the main shower, toilet and wash hand basin are on the first floor and the cottage, typically has some low beams so care must be taken.There is no central heating but there are electric heaters shower room, bedroom, living room and kitchen.The minimum bookings period is 3 nights except during July and August when the minimum booking period is 7 nights. There is a reasonable cleaning charge included; see price breakdown. On the ground floor there is an open plan, well equipped kitchen and dining area. The table can easily accommodate six people. It has all cooking facilities and equipment (fridge/freezer, microwave, integrated cooker and hob, needed to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The middle floor can be accessed from steps from the kitchen and the front door to the quiet lane. There is a WC with wash basin adjacent to the living room for children or additional guests. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed and an additional single fold out child's bed (if required). The room is recently been redecorated and Orange Wifi is updated to fibre connection. The first floor is accessed from the hallway and has the bedroom and shower room. Please note the low beam when climbing the stairs. The shower room is compact and has a basin and toilet. There is a low beam there too. The cellar is adjacent to the garden door via a secure gate and accommodates the washing machine. There is a wash hanging line under the porch over the garden and cellar doors. The garden is well laid out with table and chairs, sun loungers, a lawn, fruit trees and planting. It has a 3m diameter (75cm deep) above ground pool accessed by secure gates. Please note the water level of the pool depends on local water regulations. There is ample parking for two cars within the perimeter and another on the hamlet's parking area at the end of the barn. Guest access Guests have access to all parts of the house and garden but the barn is prohibited and awaiting renovation. Adrian or a representative with hand over keys on arrival or they will be available via a key safe by the garden door. Other things to note The three storey house has much character with typically low beams and quite steep stairs. Stair gates can be fitted if required. The washing machine is in the cellar. Padlocks for the gates to the pool and cellar can be provided if required to prevent child access. There is a TV in the living room which can be used if linked to your laptop via the HDMI cable provided and a Bose sound system via bluetooth. There is no satellite TV.
