We want you to create experiences that you'll remember forever. We want you to come back. Recommended stay: 3 nights. The space The house is surrounded by nature. Sometimes you can hear or even see howler monkeys from the balcony of your room and from the pool. The house is beautiful, comfortable and fully equipped. All 5 rooms have A/C, bathrooms have hot water, kitchen is fully stocked. Tom's Paradise Breakfast INCLUDED: Seasonal fruit, scrambled eggs with ham, tomato, and onion. Served with beans, plantains, and cheese. Delicious Guatemalan coffee. In the social area we offer high-speed Wi-Fi provided by Starlink free of charge to our guests. The pool is located facing the river and surrounded by nature. It has 3 different areas. The first area is for sunbathing or for toddlers. The second area is a shallow part ideal for children and the third area is the deep part. We offer kayaks, board games and a Smart TV where you can login with your Netflix account or explore YouTube. The use of kayaks and board games is free. Boat transfer from the parking lot to the house is included with the stay (round trip). We also include the parking cost of a vehicle in the stay. We have 3 boats to explore and discover Rio Dulce and its surroundings (The cost of renting the boats depends on the destination they want to visit and the number of occupants). We definitely recommend using our fully customized tours with no time limit to visit each destination to really get to know all the wonders of Rio Dulce and its surroundings. We have a power plant in case of blackouts (something that happens quite often in the jungle). The power plant serves for lighting, fans, and kitchen equipment. You will only have to pay for the fuel if you want to use the A/C with the power plant. They are very helpful and very trustworthy people with over 20 years of working with us. They're what really make a difference. Tipping is NOT included. Breakfast is included. However, we can provide food for other meal times to guests for a fee (this is optional, you can bring your own food and we will help you cook it). Once the booking is confirmed I will send you the home-cooked food menu that we offer in order to take away the work of going to buy ingredients, take them to Rio Dulce and cook them, we want you to come to Tom's to REST AND ENJOY. Some of our favorites are Tapado (Typical Livingston dish), Shrimp Tacos, Shrimp or Fish Ceviche, Fried Mojarra, etc). And of course our Tom's Paradise Breakfast! Other things to note The house does not have parking. You have to park in a private parking lot located below the Rio Dulce Bridge and we will pick you up on our boat. Once the reservation is made we will give you the exact parking location. We include the parking cost of a vehicle. The cost for parking additional vehicles is Q30.00 per day. Once you have parked, we will pick you up on our boat and take you home. Boat transfer (round trip) is included with the stay. The boat trip takes approximately 5 minutes. It's important for the guest to make a reservation for the actual number of people who will be staying at the house. If there's a change in the number of people you originally booked for, I need to be notified to make the change in price. Price changes depending on the number of people. If you want to get to Rio Dulce by plane, we can help you coordinate the trip. IMPORTANT: Airbnb is the only platform through which we accept reservations. Please don't be a victim of scams by individuals offering this house on social media. Our prices include VAT. Please provide us with your NIT, DPI or passport number to issue an invoice. The invoice amount does NOT include the Airbnb fee, only the rental amount.
