The space Welcome to Three Cedars Cabin, expect cozy and rustic with a cottagey feel but with all the amenities . This is an older home, built in 1959 that is lovingly cared for. It may not be sleek and modern but there is certainly charm. From the wide plank fir flooring and custom woodwork throughout, to the eclectic art and book collection, the cabin has a sence of history. With three bedrooms it is suited for up to three couples, groups of friends, or families with children. Step into the mudroom via convenient keyless entry. Here you’ll find a jar of treats for your furry companions and a bench for taking off and putting on boots. Now go claim your bedroom from your choice of three bedrooms and an additional sleeping space in the rec room , all with memory foam mattresses and cotton bed sheets. On the main level, you’ll find a Master Suite with king bed flanked by bedside tables and reading lamps. Store your belongings in the dresser and closet. You’ll love the convenience of the ensuite bathroom with standalone tub and walk-in shower, along with all bathroom essentials. Indulge in the Canadian made organic soaps and hair products provided. Also on the main level, discover the Queen Bedroom with bedside tables and reading lamps. For storage there is a closet as well as a dresser with mirror. The third bedroom in the basement provides a king bed with unique headboard, bedside tables with lamps, and carpeting to greet your toes on chilly mornings. You’ll have a closet for storage in this room. To accommodate additional sleeping needs, you’ll find a full-size bed and dresser in a side nook off the media/theatre room. Once you’re settled in your chosen bedroom, head to the open-concept main-level living room and relax on the large, comfy sectional by the toasty wood-burning fireplace with host-supplied firewood. Experience the airy spaciousness, soaring ceiling with beams, and warm wood finishes. From here, you’ll have easy access to the spacious screened porch, where you can enjoy outdoor seating around a coffee table as you converse, play games, and soak in views of Mt. Currie and the beautiful surroundings. Enjoy your favorite movies, shows, and sports on the 60” Samsung TV, accessing popular streaming channels using your own log-ins. The TV looks like a framed piece of art when not in use as a TV. Or, for a more deluxe viewing experience, check out the 65” Visio TV in the media/theatre room. Snuggle into the large sectional with chaise section – plus multiple pillows and throws to keep you cozy. Outside you will find many amenities. Find your bliss in the 5-person hot tub, offering massage jets, LED lights, and a waterfall. Imagine relaxing in the hot tub as you gaze at spectacular mountain views. Children and dogs alike will love romping in the front yard under the giant cedars that give the cabin its name. In the evening, tell stories, laugh, and make memories around the wood-burning firepit in the front yard. Back inside, grab books from the little library with reading material for all ages; you’ll have no trouble finding a cozy spot to read at Three Cedars Cabin. At mealtime, prep and cook your best culinary creations in the kitchen with all standard major appliances – large refrigerator, induction stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. You’ll find plenty of prep space on the countertops, along with all the cookware, bakeware, dishware, flatware, glassware, serving-ware, and utensils you need to prepare and serve your favorite meals. Pantry staples such as tea, sugar,salt, and cooking oil are provided. There is a French press and a drip coffee machine as well as a coffee grinder so you can bring your coffee beans of choice. Dine at the dining table for 8 – or dine al fresco at the table for 6 on the screened porch. You’ll also find a propane BBQ outside. Refresh and rejuvenate in the common second bathroom with shower and all bathroom essentials. Guest access You have access to everything inside the cabin except locked storage and utility rooms in the basement. The surrounding deck spaces, large grassy treed front yard, the screened porch and hot tub are exclusively for your private use. The areas beyond the cabin towards the back of the property are a separate residence. No fumbling with keys; self-check-in is available with digital keypad. Parking available in front of cabin for up to 4 vehicles. Secure storage for equipment in the mudroom . You’ll be conveniently located just 5 minutes to Pemberton shops and restaurants and a scenic 30 minutes to Whistler. You’ll be close to numerous hiking and biking trails, along with opportunities to ski (downhill and x-country), snowboard, snowmobile, snowshoe, fish, boat, paddleboard, skydive, ride horses, swim, and more. No parties, unregistered guests or pets are permitted. 🚭 this is a non smoking property DOGS: Up to two dogs for $30 per dog . Please register your dog under the “pets” section when booking. No other animals, including cats are permitted at this time. The front yard is for exclusive guest use and is a good spot for pet pottying. The cabin is not connected to a sidewalk or trail network but there are many great walks and hikes just a short drive away. Host lives in separate home at the back of the property more than a regular neighbour’s distance away; obscured by trees however, host home is visible from some of the cabin’s windows. Bugs may be prevalent in the summer; the screened-in porch will be a haven during these times. It is highly recommended to bring loose layers and bug spray from June-September. Bears are a common sight from summer to late fall, as are neighbourhood dogs year round. It must be noted by all guests to not leave any food or garbage outside the cabin or inside the screened porch. guests may experience noise from louder vehicles; however, mature trees provide a visual and partial auditory barrier. Built in 1959, the cabin retains such vintage charms as wide-plank fir flooring and rustic beams; additionally guests should expect the quirks typical of older homes. Please be aware that the basement level has low ceilings and a steeper staircase. Please note Three Cedars Cabin does not have an in unit washer and dryer.
