In the heart of Lower Saxony – in the Aller-Leine Valley – you will find the ideal conditions for a relaxing vacation here on our premises. Whether small or large – you can certainly have a lovely time in our unique vacation home right on the lake. The space Our 170-square-meter lakeside vacation home on the Hasenhof is a former brick stable building from 1874, which our family has lovingly converted and renovated in keeping with its style in recent years. Located on the 6500-square-meter courtyard, which borders the old arm of the Aller, next to the 300-year-old farmhouse, it offers plenty of space for up to 11 guests with its spacious layout in the living area and the bedrooms in the attic. The picturesque vacation home is based on the theme of the "4 seasons," which are reflected in the 4 rooms on the upper floor as summer, autumn, spring and winter rooms. In addition to a double bed, there is also a single bed in both the spring and autumn room. Our Herbstzimmer is ideally suited as a family room, i.e., it also includes a cot, and the single bed can be converted into 2 beds. The summer room is also equipped with a 2-person bed (140x200 cm) as well as a single bed while the winter room is intended as a single room. There is also a modern toilet with a shower room and a bathroom on this floor. On the ground floor is the garden room, another bedroom with a sofa bed. The light-flooded room is intended as a retreat with a wonderful view of the green terrace and contains an extensive selection of books and various games for all ages. The equally sunny, spacious, open-plan living and dining area with a tiled stove and floor-to-ceiling windows invites you to linger and play. The new kitchen-living room with radio is perfectly equipped and directly adjoins the living room. It offers enough space for cooking or preparing meals together and, in addition, a cozy little dining area. Basic supplies of spices, salt, oil and tea for the first day are always available. Likewise, the necessary utensils for quick hand washing if you don't want to run the dishwasher, or for packing food for a picnic by the lake. Our tap water is of excellent quality and can be drunk without hesitation. A water treatment device is available for carbonated beverages. Various coffee machines are also available. On the same floor, there is a spacious, comfortable daylight bathroom with shower and bathtub, so you can feel at home. We provide children's stools, a baby bathtub, a changing mat and a toilet seat for your little ones. Thanks to the free WiFi, you can stay in touch with your loved ones at home or plan your activities in front of the fireplace or on the terrace. The simple password is on the chalkboard in the kitchen. There is a fiber optic network for fast internet with 100-200 Mbits/s, so that mobile work is also easily possible. We have deliberately refrained from installing TVs in the bedrooms in order to guarantee you a relaxing night's sleep. A 50m2 covered outdoor terrace runs on the entire rear of the house facing southwest. There you can relax wonderfully and also grill on the charcoal grill provided, which should be rolled onto the lawn, and enjoy dinner in a cozy atmosphere at the large wooden table as the sun sets. Delicious grilled food from the neighboring hunter can be ordered through us. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the park-like garden and the lake behind it, which is at the end of the property and thus only a few meters away. The evening view of the adjacent meadow, where hares, partridges and roe deer roam, is fantastic in every season. In addition, a campfire area has been set up in front of the building for preparing campfire bread in the evening when the weather is good. The house is surrounded by an enchanting outdoor area with a spacious garden and a playground where there are various swings, a trampoline and a sand play area for the little ones to explore. Badminton, boules or Viking chess can also be played here. In good weather you can set up the ping-pong table. You are welcome to help with the care of the chickens and our two dwarf rabbits, Toffifee and Sammy, upon request. Our two house cats, Coockie and Minni, are a bit older, but they are friendly and curious. Therefore, it is important to keep the front doors closed so that they do not make themselves comfortable in the bedrooms with the guests. We live close to nature, so insects buzz over the numerous natural flower beds, although our swallows, which live in the hallway, catch many mosquitoes to raise their young. The mosquito screens attached to the windows are ideal for keeping natural animals away from the vacation home. The village's own soccer field as well as two small public playgrounds and the Aller river are within walking distance in a few minutes. Our cooperatively managed village store is a special treat for our guests. You can purchase essentials for your stay daily using your debit card. Fresh baked goods are also available there daily. Our lakeside vacation home has its own special charm in every season and in any weather! Guest access The house has its own entrance. During your stay, the house, including the terrace and the garden in front of the house entrance, is at your disposal. By arrangement, the use of the park-like garden in the back garden, the lawn and the lake is possible and welcome. Other things to note Traveling with small children: We will gladly provide you with items such as an extra bed, high chair, baby bath, toilet seat, etc., on request. The house has fly screens. Our courtyard has plenty of space for parking a car and bicycles. You can charge your electric car either at the Wallbox on the property or at the charging station of the village store 250 meters away. We are happy to put together a basic package for the kitchen (cereal, fresh milk, fruit, rolls, etc.) on request for a fee. Use of the boats and the jetty is by arrangement and at your own risk. The farm's own handcart can also be used on request.
