Alvarado Cabin on the river and Creeper Trail

**THIS CABIN IS NOT LOCATED ON THE MAIN PROPERTY**Our Big Rock Cabin, is tucked along the riverside near Alvarado Station, on an acre of private property. Enjoy easy access to the Creeper Trail, which runs right alongside the river, through the property. A 2 bedroom cabin that boasts a well-stocked kitchen, a family room/dining area, oven, dishwasher, AC/heat, Smart TV and Wi-Fi. A large, partially covered porch with a gas grill, has gates on both entrances to help keep children/pets safe. The space At Laurel Run Cabins we strive to create a 'home away from home' atmosphere. Our cozy and charming log cabins have warm wood interiors, sweet country décor, plenty of extra quilts, games and reading material for cooler weather. When it's warm outside, the property offers great river access for fishing, swimming and kayaking (bring towels and river shoes!) A fire pit can be used year round to enjoy the rolling yard. Pet friendly with a $60 per pet charge. The porch is partially covered and has gates on it to help keep kids and pets safe while you enjoy the porch. Guest access At Big Rock the whole private property is yours to enjoy, including the section between the Creeper Trail and River. Other things to note -PET OWNERS- please thoroughly read our pet policy in 'House Rules' before booking and reach out with any questions. -PLASTIC SNAKES are nailed to the deck to deter birds from visiting, please warn the other guests that they aren't real :) -SWIMMING AND KAYAKING- we ask that you bring your own towels for the river, and strongly recommend that you wear river shoes. -CELL SERVICE-not all carriers work well at this cabin. We do have really good Wi-Fi at the cabin for you to use.
