Access to backyard with green space & tree shade. Very walkable and bikeable! Steps to Solano Avenue shops, restaurants, Memorial Park & Albany aquatic center. The space Enjoy privacy and Independence: Enjoy your stay in a safe private home with easy access via keypad. No key exchange, you can check yourself in anytime after 4pm. Large open floor plan kitchen + living space with fireplace, 2 bedrooms and private bathroom, as well as the large deck with sit out is yours to enjoy! Unwind, Relax and Recharge: The bungalow is modern, fully updated and tastefully furnished. Master bedroom and 2nd bedroom both have large comfortable beds with fresh sheets to sink into at the end of your busy day. Your comfort is our priority. King bed in master outfitted with high end mattresses (Brooklyn Bedding Signature #BestMattressEver ) and Queen bed in 2nd bedroom has LEESA mattress. (FYI- Both bed sizes upgraded recently, pictures do not reflect yet) Extra floor mattress available on request for a larger group. Plenty of hangers and shelf space in the large walk-in closet in master bedroom, there's also a hallway closet to store bikes, or luggage. Bathroom has jetted tub to soak in with a glass of wine, in the soft lighting of the sky-light. You will find fresh towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner and hair-dryer. Living area has a couch and chairs to hang out by the fireplace, as wells as bar-stools to sit at the bar and chat over a glass of wine. Look above the bar to see wine glasses. You are welcome to browse our book collection. Flexibility to cook your own meals: Gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, GE profile gas range and silent bosch dishwasher, cooking vessels, plates, cups/glasses, cutlery and basics (salt/pepper/olive oil). Heat up take-out from any of the fantastic restaurants on Solano ave or make your own healthy meals. Coffee machine and toaster, along with an assortment of teas and coffee available for your morning breakfast fix, before heading out to explore the city. We highly recommend you check out the neighborhood cafes for brunch though! Experience the indoor-outdoor concept and active lifestyle: Enjoy your morning coffee on the backyard deck, listening to birds or on the quaint front porch, right outside the large picture window. Neighbor has chickens (no rooster to give you a wake up call though, sorry!) and believes in an organic lifestyle, as do we. Take a stroll down the tree-lined streets and rejoice in the dream-like natural setting, checkout the architectural beauty of the houses. No cookie-cutters here. Walk to the neighborhood Memorial park with kids play area, or go for a swim at the Albany Aquatic Center. Take a short bike ride on the Oholne Greenway (or drive) to numerous nature spots. Watch sunsets at Golden Gate Fields, Point Isabel Regional Shoreline or Berkeley Marina with views of SF across the bay, hike the Tilden Regional Park trails and many more. We love every sq inch of our cute functional vacation home, and hope you will too! Guest access The entire front house is yours while you are here, including the large attached deck, with sit-out area in the backyard. You can park one car on the driveway, to right side of the house. (You may have to work with us to get in/out since driveway parking is tandem) Street parking also available in front of house. Self-Check-in via electronic keypad, code will be provided prior to stay. Guests have access to the beautiful green space in the backyard, but it is shared. Guests do not have access to the detached garage/office/ADU. Other things to note Checkin code provided prior to stay. Long term stays (>28 days) require you to sign a lease and approved on a case-by-case basis only, instant book not enabled. Please send an inquiry.
