Peaceful and centrally-located bungalow Our 3 bedroom bungalow has new furniture throughout and is bright and comfortable. Whether you’re visiting the area for leisure or work, on your own or with friends or family we have all you need for an enjoyable & relaxing stay. Tucked away in a lovely cul-de-sac, it’s close to Ruff Wood, right next to Ormskirk Hospital & School. There's a convenience store nearby & it's a 15 minute walk to the town and Edge Hill University. The space Living Room: 2 three seater settees with footstool, freeview TV, dining table and benches. Kitchen: Electric oven with gas hob, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer, kettle and toaster. Bedroom 1: King sized bed, chest of drawers and coat hooks. The ensuite has a mixer shower with luxurious rainfall style head and a separate handset. Views out to the back garden. The bedroom door can be locked with a key. Bedroom 2: Zip and Link style king sized bed that can be turned into 2 singles on request. Chest of drawers and coat hooks. Looks out onto the back garden. Bedroom 3: Single bed, hanging rail, desk and chair. Could be used as a work or study area. Main bathroom: Bath, rainfall shower and separate handset, heated towel radiator. Blossom Lodge is located three quarters of a mile from the historic market town of Ormskirk in the heart of West Lancashire. With market stalls every Thursday and Saturday and with a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars there's plenty to do right on the doorstep. Edge Hill University can be reached on foot within 10-15 minutes through the hospital or through Ruff Wood. Ormskirk also has a train station which offers a direct service to the city centres of Liverpool and Preston in just over half an hour. Moor Hall, Mark Birchall's award-winning two Michelin star restaurant is a 10 minute drive away. Burscough is just 4 miles away and has excellent amenities including Burscough Wharf, which has a vibrant selection of arts, crafts, food and drink right next to the canal. The Victorian seaside town of Southport, with its beach and funfair, can be reached in around half an hour. Climb through the natural sand dunes at Formby Beach close to Southport, or visit Crosby Beach where you'll find ‘Another Place’ sculptures by internationally acclaimed artist Antony Gormley. Crosby Beach is also the beginning of the 22 mile Sefton Coastal Path. From the shore you can enjoy views across the sea to the Wirral and North Wales hills. Further afield, the city of Manchester and the Trafford Shopping Centre can be reached in under an hour's drive or the Lake District National Park in just over an hour. There are trains to Southport and Manchester from Burscough. A minute's walk from the bungalow is a bus stop where you can get buses to Liverpool, Southport and Wigan. Liverpool has a great shopping centre called Liverpool One and the Albert Dock is well worth a visit. You’ll find the Tate Liverpool there as well as The Beatles Story. Free WiFi and you can login to your Netflix account on the TV. There's parking for up to 3 cars on the drive (2 cars easily). Guest access You'll have full access to the bungalow and front and back gardens. Gates on either side mean the back garden is fully secure if young children are playing.
