Atalanta is an environmental protection area, a place of extreme beauty located 1200 meters above sea level in the Serra da Mantiqueira mountain, south of Minas Gerais, a place full of exuberant nature, forest, waterfall, birds, sunrise, silence, pure water, fresh air and a lot of tranquility in the middle of an environmental preservation area. It is located 12 km from the city of Extrema and approximately 100 km (1h30) from Guarulhos Airport and Tietê Bus Station, São Paulo capital. The space We are offering 1 bedroom with a private bathroom in the guest area, an exposed brick construction, thermal comfort and a view of nature. The room can be made available in double or single format. The place is inside an ecological reserve allowing you to enjoy all the beauty, nature, trails and waterfalls on site. It is a very safe and quiet place. In addition, guests have access to an exclusive kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, food pantry and cabinet with dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans and a barbecue area. (see photos) The water is supplied directly from the spring, all taps have potable and pure water. Purify your body and mind. On open sky days you can enjoy the sunrise and the full moon (on a clear full moon day) and still contemplate the starry sky where you can observe the Milky Way and the constellations and, if you're lucky, see shooting stars, due to the altitude the sky here is really amazing. In addition, it is a place with many birds and butterflies, toucans always come to eat avocado in the avocado tree located in front of the guest house. Guest access The guest has access to all the external areas of the lakes, a trail in the woods, waterfall, fire pit, earth house and hammock. Parking is quiet and safe. IMPORTANT Access to the site is via a dirt road and in the rainy season, low cars and 1.0 may have difficulty climbing. Other things to note Some important notices: - We do not allow smoking inside the rooms and in case the guest smokes in the outdoor area we ask to take care of the butts, disposing of them in a container to be discarded later. It is forbidden to throw cigarette butts into the natural surroundings. - We allow pets but with prior notice, in which case additional fees apply. - We do not have room service, so guests undertake to keep the environment clean and organized at all times. - The kitchen is for collective use and, therefore, must always be kept organized (used/washed/stored). - It is expressly forbidden to throw food, soil or anything solid into the kitchen and bathroom sinks, as the drains are narrow and can clog, causing damage and consequences. - The guest will receive a copy of the key to the gate and to his room for free access, but he is responsible for it and, in case of loss, he will bear the expenses of a locksmith to make a new copy. - Waste must be separated into recyclable and organic. Organic waste is placed in the compost and recyclables must be sent by the guest to the collection center near the farm. - It's worth noting that we're in the middle of the woods. - We ask you to be aware of wasting water and electricity. - Noise is not allowed after 10 p.m. - We do not allow drugs. - We don't allow loud noises.
