Channel House

This is our summer home that we have decided to share in the other seasons. Enjoy the “off” season of NO parades, NO fireworks, NO crowds and NO waiting. Stay and enjoy the colors of fall or the frozen beauty of winter as you visit restaurants without reservations, take leisurely drives to enjoy the vistas or lounge by our fireplaces with a good book. Enjoy Door County in the off season from our Channel House with spectacular views of the water. The space Because this is our summer home, you will notice we have drawers marked “guest” for your use and others “family” with our things as we are there occasionally. You will also find a well stocked kitchen, books, puzzles and games for kids and seniors alike as this is a perfect home for couples as well as families. This cozy, comfortable two level home with spectacular views of the water in all seasons has two living areas with gas fireplaces, two full bathrooms with shampoo etc. and two bedrooms. The family bedroom on the lower level has a queen and full bed. So whether you choose to explore downtown Sturgeon Bay or drive around Door county or relax with a book in front of one of our two fireplaces, it will be evident why we call the Channel House our “happy place.” Guest access You will have full access except for the red door bedroom upstairs, one closet in the hallway and our utility room in the lower level. While we live here in summer, we only occasionally get to visit the other months. Other things to note - For security - we have ring door on the front door and lower level door. - Also for your information, our rescue dog and cat, Bagel and Charlie Brown, live here with us in summer. Although we clean and vacuum throughly, we can’t guarantee it to be allergen free. Thank you for your understanding.
