Guests often describe the stillness as a turning point in the beginning of healing, clarity, & calm. A space to think, breathe, & feel human again. The space Our charming cottage in Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The main floor features an open-concept living and dining area with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook meals during your stay. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and the other with a bunk bed (sleeps 3). There's a pull-out couch upstairs, which is double bed size. The upper level has an entertainment room area, a dedicated office space, and a table tennis table. While working remotely, you can stay connected with high-speed internet while the scenic surroundings keep you entertained and disconnected. Outside, you'll be surrounded by nature and the tranquility of the forest. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch and listen to the birds sing. At night, cozy up around the firepit area and gaze up at the stars. The cottage also offers easy access to the Lake Capri (2 min walk) which is a lovely spot for swimming or fishing. Less than 1 hour from Montreal, easy access from Highway 15. Conveniently located close to the town of Morin Heights with access to a grocery store, brewery, bakery, and much more. Lots of outdoor activities minutes from the house, Sommets Morin Heights (15 min drive) and Mont Saint Sauveur (20 min drive) for skiing and snowboarding, Corridor Aérobique (less than 10 min drive) for cross-country skiing and cycling. There are snowshoeing and hiking trails right alongside the house. Amerispa is less than 15 min drive. Guest access The entire house and surrounding grounds. Lake access is less than a 2 min walk down to the lake. Our house is located in a cul de sac so it's very quiet and offers a lot of privacy. Other things to note Please note that a 4WD vehicle is recommended to access the property as the roads are bumpy and unpaved. Unfortunately, our charming Birchwood Cottage is not suitable for pets. No smoking Indoors. Our rates cover heating up to an average daily usage of $6 (during winter). If exceeded, a supplementary charge may apply to cover additional costs after your stay.
