Treehouse in Carinerland

The treehouse Cimanidum, our Wolkennest, is the fulfilment of a quiet childhood dream. Set high among the treetops, it is a place where freedom and a sense of safety gently come together. Wood, light and views into the surrounding greenery create an atmosphere that allows everyday life to fade into the background, opening space for calm, wonder and lightness. Those who arrive here soon feel time widening, thoughts growing still, and the experience of being outdoors gaining a deeper meaning. The space In the Cimanidum, you drift high above the ground, nestled among branches and leaves, into a world of calm and simplicity. On the small sleeping gallery, cosy double bunk beds (each 120 cm wide) await you, while downstairs an open living and kitchen area can be transformed into a snug retreat with thick curtains. Electricity is intentionally not available here. Instead, candlelight, lanterns and the view of the starry sky create an atmosphere far richer than any socket ever could. The Cimanidum invites you to slow down, to reconnect with nature and to experience a rare sense of quiet. The bathroom is located in the main house and is anything but ordinary. Natural stone, warm brick walls and carefully chosen details turn it into a small boutique-style bathroom with a distinctive, handcrafted character. It is shared with the guests of the Titania and offers a calm, atmospheric space for your daily rituals. In addition, all guests are welcome to use the Atelier Bath with its infrared sauna – a place for gentle warmth and moments of deep relaxation. The large garden of the Sonnenhügel opens up all around you: secluded seating and lounging areas, vegetable and herb beds, fruit trees, and quiet corners to linger. Soft garden scents, birdsong and the crackling fire of the Grillcota accompany the day, while the nearby yoga studio offers space for mindful movement and balance. Hidden away from the usual tourist routes, the Sonnenhügel is a place where nature, design and tranquillity come together – and where time seems to slow down, almost effortlessly. Guest access With its approximately 10,000 square meters, the Sonnenhügel has been designed to feel intentionally spacious. Around the treehouse Cimanidum, guests will find plenty of room for calm, retreat and their own rhythm – unless they consciously choose shared moments, such as a barbecue evening at the Grillcota or an unplanned conversation somewhere in the garden. Neu Karin lies away from the well-known tourist routes. This setting offers a special sense of peace and closeness to nature. Choosing the Sonnenhügel means choosing a form of voluntary seclusion – with the quiet luxury of hearing nightingales at dusk and frogs calling in the morning. The treehouse is reached via a small village road and a short walk through the garden. Already on the final stretch, something shifts: it becomes quieter. Everyday life fades into the background, and a slower sense of time begins to take over. Other things to note When you arrive at the Sonnenhügel, we want you to feel at ease - to simply have time to pause and breathe. A walk throug the village or a glance across the fields quickly replaces the rush of everydays life. Excursions are close by: the Hanseatic towns of Wismar(35km) and Rostock (45km) invite you to explore culture and harbour life. The beaches of Kühlungsborn (16km) and Rerik (15km) , as well as the Salhaff, are only a short drive away. Nature lovers will find peace in the nearby Entenmoor nature reserve. Small touches await you in treehouse Cimanidum - from Coffee and tea to basic sices. Biscycles can be stored safely in our barn, or delivered directly to the Sonnenhügel by a local rantal service.
