Perfectly positioned to explore the Cotswolds and The Cotswold Water Park. This cottage in Down Ampney is a brilliant base for a weekends away or family holidays. The space This was built as a farm hand’s cottage over 100 years ago. The property has been refurbished, maintaining some of the original features whilst bringing a much needed update. The bedrooms are all good sizes and have double beds. There is plenty of space in the master bedroom to accommodate a travel cot or blowup mattress. There is hanging space in the two larger bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with a range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer and Nespresso machine. As well as all the usual kit (toaster, kettle, pots pans etc). The bathroom is downstairs off the kitchen, typical of the era. It is spacious and you’ll find everything you need. The living space has a three and two seater sofas, TV with internet connection, dining table for up to 6. A high chair is available on request for a 7th place. There is a boot room at the back door, large enough for a dog crate if required. There is also coat rack at the front door and space under the stairs for storage. Parking is to the rear of the property, the spaces are under construction so temporarily they are gravel finish.
