The apartment has been fully redecorated with a traditional theme, warm and homely. This apartment in a Georgian grade 2 listed building which has beautiful large sash windows, lots of light and scenic views over the front garden and the historic Quaker Burial Ground and Pannett park to the side. The Bedroom has a traditional Kingsize bed, with two sets of draws, a dressing table with large mirror, hairdryer and clothes rail. Ottoman with extra throws. The Bathroom has a full size bath and separate cubicle electric shower, sink, toilet and large radiator. Kitchen / lounge: The Kitchen has an under counter fridge/freezer top, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric hob and oven with grill, large Halogen oven and air fryer. All the usual kitchen utensils. Table and 4 chairs. Radio, Iron/table top iron board. Desk, monitor and lamp. Lounge includes a large two seater sofa(which converts into a double sofa bed with mattress/foam topper/feather topper). Also a second large two seater sofa and large footstool. Small otterman, Tv with dvd player and dvds. USB socket for device charging. puzzles/games/cards available also. Hallway: with bench and coat rack. Outer hallway: with bench and coat rack. There is a portable fan in the bedroom and main room. We provide: 2 Tea towels (min) 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels, 1 bath mat 2 toilet rolls(min). We do not provide: Wifi We do not have WIFI however there is a great signal to hot spot using your own mobile phone data via the large smart tv and watch Amazon prime (included) or Netflix / other apps. (full instructions are in the apartment) There is also standard aerial tv and a dvd player and many many dvds to choose from if you don't wish to hot spot. We decorate for Goth weekend and Halloween and Christmas! Parking: We have one parking space which is at the top of Walker Street at the back of the property and is suitable for small/medium sized cars Eg vw polo/hyundia i20. We provide good instructions how to access this and a video available on request. Please see listing photos of the space before booking as you will need to reverse into the space. Full apartment instructions and key code information are sent 48 hours before your stay. General Whitby information regarding can be found in the Apartment. One set of keys collected at the property entrance via a Key box. Keys to be deposited back into the Key box on check out. There are 5 apartments in the building and 4 owners holiday let therefore we do ask guests to keep noise levels to a normal level to respect the private home and other guests in the building. Please do not book this apartment if you have mobility issues due to the stairs and location. This is a no pets / no smoking / and no children under 5 due to windows / height risk. We are a premier host and have two properties on crescent avenue also. For larger vehicles, the closest large car park is West Cliff which is off Crescent Avenue and charges £10.80 per day but FREE November to end of Feb. There is also free on street parking further afield. Please check Whitby Council Website for further parking information. Guest access Apartment 3 is on the second floor via communal entrance and stairs. Access at back. One parking space at back for a medium sized car. There are 36 stairs from the entrance doorway to the 2nd floor apartment door Other things to note My daughter owns Apartment 4 which is also available via airbnb with double bed and single sofabed therefore suitable for families or couples.
