3. Stay like a local in Fukuoka, a city by the sea, in an ash house

A two-story house located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Ashiya, a seaside town. The hosts, us, and two rescue cats live on the first floor, and the second floor is offered as a private guest house. (The 1st and 2nd floors are separated by their own entrances) When you walk out of the residential area, there is a promenade overlooking Okamiminato Shrine, famous for Nanja Monja, and the majestic Enogawa River. A little further on, there is Ashiya Beach, Uomizu Park with a view of the sea, and Ashiya Kamakura, a Japanese garden. In addition, in the ancient port town of Ashiya, there are restaurants where you can enjoy fresh seafood. When you come, we can tell you about recommended shops and highlights of the surrounding area.
