Smith Lake Mountain Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this quiet, peaceful place to stay. Our place is located less than 15 minutes from I65. This lakefront home sleeps up to 10 within the 5 bedroom, 2 bath structure. There are over 100 steps to the dock so please be safe traveling up and down them to the boat dock. If you would like to grill out, we have both a gas grill and black stone for you to use in addition to a fire pit that is perfect to roast marshmallows on while enjoying the peaceful view of the lake. Other things to note If you have a boat you would like to bring along with you, Hames Marina is the closest one that is open to the public. Misty Harbor is closer, but not recommended due to the fact it isn’t open to the public. If you have kids and decide you need a break from the water…we also have a basketball goal, room in the yard to throw a ball, and plenty of tvs to hook up your game system for entertainment. WiFi is included for all of your streaming needs. Our home sits upon a steep slope, so be prepared to use the stairs (over 100 down to the water) or you can take the nature trail down if you prefer. For your information there is a doorbell camera.
