Casa Stella is a charming family home in the heart of Draguć, lovingly cared for over nearly 100 years and fully renovated in 2023. It combines authentic Istrian character with modern comfort. The house offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cosy living area with a sofa for up to 6 guests. We’re always happy to share local tips and make sure you feel welcome, relaxed, and truly at home. The space Draguć is an excellent starting point for exploring all of Istria, especially central Istria. Thanks to its central location, it allows easy access to the region’s most beautiful highlights while still offering peace, nature, and an authentic village atmosphere. Nearby you can explore the famous Motovun Forest, known for its truffles, enjoy traditional Istrian agrotourisms and highly rated local restaurants, or visit local wineries offering well-known Malvasia and Teran wines. The region is also famous for its excellent extra virgin olive oil. Nature lovers will enjoy the 7 Waterfalls trail, Zarečki Krov with its waterfall and natural swimming area, and many scenic walking paths. From the area, you can also enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Butoniga, one of the most peaceful landscapes in central Istria. Draguć is the best-known small town in the Municipality of Cerovlje. Thanks to its picturesque appearance and well-preserved architecture, it is often featured in domestic and international films and TV shows, earning it the nickname “Istrian Hollywood.” However, Draguć is much more than just a film set. The village is known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, including beautiful churches with valuable frescoes and a strong Glagolitic tradition. In Draguć, you can also visit the House of Frescoes, a cultural and exhibition space that introduces visitors to the local history and artistic heritage of the area. For a short break, there is also a local restaurant and coffee bar called Ladonja, where you can enjoy a drink or a simple meal without needing to leave the village (please check opening times, as it may be temporarily closed). In Casa Stella you will find two bedrooms with extra-large beds, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living room. If needed, the sofa in the living room can accommodate two additional guests, allowing a maximum occupancy of six people. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need for a relaxing holiday stay. The house combines traditional charm with modern comfort, offering a warm and relaxing stay in the heart of Istria. Guest access The entire house is exclusively yours during your stay. You will enjoy complete privacy, as my husband and I do not live on the premises. We will personally welcome you upon arrival, show you around the house, and provide all the necessary information about the property and the surrounding area to help you make the most of your stay.
