The Helen Dora Tiny House is conveniently located just five miles from Old Town Scottsdale and Sky Harbor Airport and 7 miles to Tempe. Easy access to major highways, including I10, I17, US60, AZ101, 202, and 51, make it convenient for exploring the greater Phoenix area. Ideal for one or two guests, the tiny house features a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and essentials for preparing light meals. The modern bathroom comes stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer for added convenience. Inside, you'll find a comfortable full-size bed (not queen), a small seating area, and a workspace complete with complimentary Wi-Fi and a television. Color adorns the space, adding a touch of personality to the tiny house. Immerse yourself in the artsy vibe of this colorful retreat, where vibrant art and unique decor adorn the space. The backyard patio invites you to relax and soak up the Arizona sunshine, with quirky features like a fountain, a desert tortoise habitat, and eye-catching murals creating a unique atmosphere. During your stay, you may encounter the friendly owners and the welcoming committee—their two small dogs Finn and Lola. You may also get to visit with their desert tortoises Willo and Lulu. Safety is a priority and there is an exterior doorbell camera and exterior perimeter security cameras monitoring the property. Guest access Parking: free safe street parking is available for our guest and we have security cameras monitoring 24/7. Keyless entry to backyard and casita. Exterior security camera monitoring. Outdoor Space: Small table and chairs on patio to enjoy the morning or evening. Other things to note • The Helen Dora is minutes away from local restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and hiking trails. • The bed is a Full-Size Bed, not a Queen. • The tiny house features a kitchenette; therefore, there is no oven or stove. It is equipped with a microwave. • Landscaping in the front and backyard is currently in progress and will not be completely finished until the end of summer when grass can be planted. This ongoing work does not affect access to the tiny house; there is a clear walking path to the Helen Dora. Additionally, the water fountain, tortoise area, trees, and mural remain accessible. • There is no laundry facility available to guests. There is a quality laundry mat located just 3 minutes away and we offer a laundry service by the bag. • Waymo, Uber or Lyft are always only a few minutes away, and with the central location of our property, you can quickly reach most of Phoenix and surrounding areas for a low fare. • If you are interested in renting a car, you may want to consider the Turo App. It's like Airbnb, but for cars. We have partnered with a couple of owners that will deliver/pick up the car to the tiny house for no additional charge. Let us know if you would like more information. • This property cannot be utilized for purposes outlined in the City of Phoenix Ordinance Section 10-195(c). The City of Phoenix short-term permit number for this property is STR-2024-001594. • Please ensure that bookings reflect the accurate number of guests staying. If there are 2 guests staying, please book for 2 guests. • Guests without a face profile picture and last name will not be accepted. Additionally, third-party bookings are not allowed as per Airbnb policies. If you wish to treat others to our Airbnb, please purchase a gift card for them via Airbnb and have them book directly with us. • For the safety and comfort of all guests, no weapons, illegal drugs, or engagement in prostitution activities are permitted in our short term rental or on our property. • This is a non-smoking property.
