Welcome to our luminous haven in the historic center! Ideal for families, our natural style meets modern convenience. Upstairs from La Casa del Pan Bakery & Cardamomo Indian Restaurant, open daily 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Ananda Yoga Center on the 2nd floor offers classes. Close to everything, yet quiet and private. Book now for a perfect blend of charm and convenience! On the third floor at the rear of a house listed in the city´s historic registry, this naturally-appealing apartment welcomes you to rest and stay for a while. The sofa in the living area converts into a double bed to accommodate guests and children. Beautiful views, abundant windows and skylights, comfortable spaces to relax or work peacefully. Dining area seats four at a round table. Water purifier ozonates your drinking water. New induction stove, small fridge, quiet washer-dryer. Spanish, meditation and yoga classes available. Take a leisurely walk through the welcoming Cardamomo restaurant on the ground floor. Head out the back door and follow the charming wrought-iron outdoor staircase, passing by the second-floor patio garden. Keep going until you reach the third-floor deck, where you'll find the entrance to Casita Lin on your right. Guests at Casa La Vinia have exclusive access to the deck, so we appreciate your kind consideration. Please use it with discretion, especially when the Casa La Vinia apartment is unoccupied. Thank you! We are available every day and in the evenings, vía this platform, happy to give you information about local attractions and travel advice. There is a night watchman on duty (10:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) should you have any emergencies during the night. Founded in 1528, San Cristobal was originally called Ciudad Real. The buildings in our neighborhood are of historic and architectural interest. The people you meet here are very diverse, and you´ll hear mayan, French, Italian, English, German, Dutch, Japanese, Hebrew and Spanish, as well as other languages being spoken around you. We are close to taxis and minibus transportation systems. The historic center is totally walkable. Be careful of slippery slanted driveway entrances when wet. It’s better to walk around those. If you request it, we can reserve a reliable taxi service to the airport or other places for you. In our high mountain valley, we sometimes experience cold nights! You can request access to a space heater for a small additional fee. While the apartment is in the center of the historic center, it is a quiet rooftop retreat, a few steps away from live music, theater and cultural activity in the neighborhood. Restaurants, markets, travel agents, bookstores and shopping are nearby. You also have easy access to a variety of transportation services including our local mini buses (colectivos), and taxis. The washer-dryer is energy-saving, super-quiet but requires time to finish its cycle of wash & dry. Please note and plan ahead, if you want to wash your clothes. Also, it uses very little liquid detergent, (which we supply), of an eco-friendly variety, and which should be put directly on the clothes and not in the soap dispenser.
