The Cabin

Quiet, rural-ideal base for work commitments or short holiday. Near Snetterton complex, close to A11 with petrol station, McDonalds, Greggs, small Asda, Subway. Tiny rural village near village pub. Own private entrance & dedicated parking space - can be parking for two on request. Please let us know if bringing a trailer. We also offer EV Charging. 30/40 minute drive to Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and 15minutes to Thetford. We are rural without a village shop so plan ahead for food! The space The Cabin has an en-suite shower room and toilet. The kitchen area has ample worksurfaces, storage areas and basic equipment, a microwave and fridge. Two comfy single divan beds, folding dining table and chairs, a sofa . Electric heating is from 2 thermostatically controlled radiators, keeping the room at a steady temperature. Wi-fi connection. TV The double French patio doors open onto a garden with trees where there are seats and a table. Off road parking next to the cabin. A fence divides the cabin and our house for privacy. We do not have a village shop so a bit of preplanning for food in essential! There are several small towns within easy reach. The Eagle pub is just around the corner. A very friendly pub with a reputation for good beer and great food. Food is NOT available every day but usually at the weekend and maybe Thursday. Take away or eat in. Food is available daily at The Angel pub in East Harling-a short drive away. We are close to Snetterton Racetrack , Thetford, Wymondham etc and a short drive from Norwich. We are close to the A 11. Also close to many fantastic places to visit including the historic town of Thetford which boasts, amongst other things, the Dad’s Army museum and town trail, Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens, National Trust properties such as Ickworth, Oxburgh, Blickling and Felbrigg, Gressenhall Rural Life Museum and Workhouse and many more. Walkers may enjoy the many forest trails with Peddars Way crossing Norfolk to the coast. Guest access The garden in front of the Cabin is for you to use. We will walk past the Cabin to leave the premises, access our car, fill the bird feeder etc but will try to give you as much privacy as possible. Other things to note There is no freezer. If you need to use the car charger please ask in advance.
