The space The Birds Nest is a fresh 90s built cottage situated on four floors. It is located on a dirt road in the beautiful, nature filled neighborhood of Sturgeon Beach. It is an investment property so you won't have any problem unpacking and making it your own for the duration of your stay! The east facing front porch is a fabulous spot for early risers to sit and relax and enjoy early morning coffee with the birds. Enter the main floor and you discover great room living at its best. Couch, and over-sized chairs fill the living-room area and a dining table that seats 8, plus four comfortable bar stools at the massive kitchen island, plus a half bath comprise the indoor living space. At either ends of the kitchen, french doors open up onto a screen porch, the full width of the house. It over looks the pool area and offers peekaboo views of the lake in the low season. Head downstairs to the walkout family fun room & lower level bedroom & bathroom. The common area has a 60" TV, pool table, foosball table, bar with stools and a comfy couch. The bedroom has a king bed and wardrobe. Upstairs from the main floor are the Primary King Bed Ensuite, 2nd King Bedroom, 3rd Bedroom for children with a twin and bunk. Up a narrow staircase is the 5th bedroom area (there is no door) with two twin beds. Guest access You'll have access to the whole property! Other things to note The 5th bedroom is up a very narrow staircase and does not have a door. The staircase has a gates at the top and at the bottom. It also has an egress window that opens. The lower level bedroom has an egress window as well. 2026 Construction project next door will mean noise Monday-Friday.
