Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located home. This clean, modern and cozy 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home is everything you will need to relax and enjoy what Clearwater and Wells Gray Park has to offer. A large deck off the back overlooks the gardens and play structure, as well as a screened tent gazebo, allow you to enjoy the fresh air. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and splash park and minutes to Dutch Lake beach, a top BC swimming lake! The space Located on Robson Street in central Clearwater, park in the driveway and walk up the front covered porch (great to sit on and watch Summer storms!) into the open concept kitchen and living room. You will look straight out through the sliding glass doors to a large deck and blooming gardens and lawn. The l The kitchen/ open concept living room has an island with four tall stools, the living room has two couches to relax and an 8 seater harvest table is ready for you to enjoy meals and look out to the back yard. The living room also has a double hide-a-bed, which is the fourth bed. Back at the front door, turn right to head down a hall that leads you to 3 bedrooms, as well as the master bathroom in the main hall. A stacking washing machine and dryer is at the end of the hall. The master bedroom is at the end of the hall to the left and has a toilet and shower. The master bedroom continues to the back yard with a large glass sliding door that leads out on to a small private deck to enjoy the back yard. It's my favourite place to watch the bats fly at dusk, smell the flowers and breathe the fresh air! That, and the main large deck;) Guest access You will have access to the front yard and covered front porch, the fully furnished 3 bed, 2 bath open concept top floor, as well as the private very large fenced backyard. You can enjoy the large deck out back, a screened gazebo to keep the bugs out and sit and enjoy, a huge kids play structure and hammocks to swing from in the gardens. There is a Hide-a-bed in the living room to accommodate 2 additional guests. The bottom floor and side entrance and garden is a completely separate suite with a long term tenant. Other things to note We have a 2 night minimum, although we highly encourage you to book 3 or more days in our beautiful area! Every group we've hosted have said that they appreciate 3 or 4 days to enjoy our beautiful yard and guest house, as well as the stunning countryside. Typically, guests enjoy viewing the world famous waterfalls in Wells Gray Park on one day, spending a day at warm Dutch Lake swimming and paddle boarding (they can be rented!) and resting at the house on another day, and finally, enjoying a scenic hike in Wells Gray Park, whitewater rafting on the world famous Clearwater River, or horseback riding on the third day. For those that stayed longer, the hammocks and a good book in the birch tree grove have been popular! As a life-long local, I'm happy to help arrange or direct you to any of these activities. Please note that there is a long term tenant in the basement suite with a completely separate entrance, parking spot and outdoor area. They are very quiet and private.
