Skogstorp Hvilohem - The Safari Room

Welcome to Skogstorp Hvilohem. A creative, peaceful place where our little sourdough bakery and espresso machine are at the heart of the business. Four double and two single rooms are available on the accommodation floor of our B&B, where freshly baked and freshly brewed items are set up for a slow breakfast. A generous porch with morning sun, community spaces spread over three floors with a piano, drum room and media room invite socializing, creativity and spiritual being. The space 700 creative square meters on three floors on one hectare of land where only imagination sets limits. Our black Grotrian Steinway grand piano is waiting in the living room, cinnamon buns are often spinning in the bakery and in the studio, music composition or recordings are in progress. The drum set is often warmed up by the one who has talent and in the media room, DVDs are crowded with vinyls, Tolkien on VHS and a CD collection in rows. Books, board games, rooms to hang out in... The guest rooms have been named the Writer's Loft, the Tivoli Room and the Rock Room. Recycling is our signature, sourdough and espresso our passion. On the ground floor is our professional kitchen with a small sourdough bakery that is in use for bookings or other festivities, and the bakery of course bakes the breakfast bread for our accommodation guests. On the entrance level, there are also rooms that are used for bookings, the studio, the attic room, the reception and three generous bathrooms. We live in a small apartment on the third floor and are on hand most of the day. The veranda and garden are for all of us - that's where the best meetings take place. We have a double garage with space to lock in bicycles and plenty of parking on the property. During your stay We like to give our guests space and encourage every visitor to discover our amazing surroundings. At the same time, we live in the house and are passionate about our hosting. If you can't find us on site, or want to keep to yourselves, simply send a message to the Airbnb app. Other things to note The living floor with guest room, kitchenette, breakfast dining room, toilet and lounge is located on the second floor of Skogstorp Hvilohem. Entrance and bathroom with shower are located downstairs. Five steps lead up a stone staircase to the front door on the veranda. Guests need to be comfortable climbing stairs during their stay with us. All stairs have ergonomic handrails and comfortable steps. Between the ground floor and the living floor, there is both a narrower so-called 'pigtrapp' and the wider, curved 'master staircase'
