Double room next to the Navy Park

Optimal location in the wider center, close to all interesting facilities, in an old Austro-Hungarian building, next to the oldest park in Pula with trees from all over the world and a playground for children, between the city center, Veruda and the beach, and close to the bus station, shops, bank, post office, restaurants, cafes, skate park, sports center and city pool. Almost everything is accessible on foot, by scooter and bicycle, and free parking is possible in the nearby streets or in the parking lot 1-3 minutes from the building. The space The apartment is located on the second floor of an Austro-Hungarian building from 1904, in a casual neighborhood with a domicile population. On the right side is the entrance to our apartment. The layout of the rooms is designed in such a way that guests have a separate private part and a sufficiently spacious common part where they can socialize and get to know each other, but also do everything necessary without disturbing each other. The common area consists of a living room, dining room and kitchen. After that room, there are two more storage rooms on the left and a bathroom and toilet on the right. After that, two corridors share that common part from the front, of four bedrooms, two single and two double from the back. Apart from the last double room, which has its own bathroom with toilet and looks like a small studio, the other three rooms use a shared bathroom and toilet. The apartment does not have a TV, but it has quality wifi and a music line. All rooms overlook the park, have a desk and their own key. The apartment is ideal for backpackers because everything in the area is close enough, as well as for digital nomads because each room has its own workspace. Free parking is possible in the surrounding streets, and 1-3 minutes from the building there are two large free parking lots, next to one there is also a skate park and sports fields. Guest access The bedrooms at the back, i.e. the private part, are separated by a hallway, in the middle of the apartment, from the common part at the front of the apartment. Apart from the last bedroom, which has its own bathroom with a toilet, the other three rooms share a common bathroom and toilet. All guests share a common kitchen, dining room and living room area, as well as two pantries. One has a refrigerator and household supplies, and the other is used for recycling and storing bicycles and scooters. During your stay Guests can enter the apartment on their own because we have prepared a key safe, and at their request, they can be greeted by a member of our family. We can communicate by phone, and since we live in the immediate vicinity, we can also come to the apartment if necessary. Also, since we are a family that professionally deals with Qigong, Taijiquan, various types of massage and other therapeutic methods, we can also organize individual and group trainings and instructions for our guests in the parks of Pula, at the energy points of Istria or in our studio nearby. Other things to note Since the apartment is located in an old building, in an environment only partially decorated, on the second floor, it is not sufficiently accessible to people with reduced mobility. Because of these characteristics, it is categorized as a two-star accommodation. On the other hand, the apartment is simply, functionally and nicely decorated on the inside with a lot of retro details from the rich history of Pula and by staying in it, guests can feel and experience the real life of the locals. We left the parquet, barns, door frames, part of the tiles, etc. in their original state, which gives the atmosphere of some other times. Through the window of the room, in addition to the park, you can see the cranes of Uljanik, once a famous Pula shipyard, and since the main boulevard passes by the park, cars can be heard when the windows are open. For this reason, the accommodation is not ideal for guests who want silence, but it can be attractive to those who want to get to know the true spirit of the city of Pula, once a military and industrial city with elements of tourism, today in transition to something new and innovative, and participate, at least for a short time, in this transformation. Since it is a quality Austro-Hungarian construction of thick walls, which retain freshness in summer and warmth in winter, we decided on an apartment without air conditioning. We want to keep the atmosphere as natural as possible, but if necessary, we will install air conditioners later. For now, guests have access to a portable fan in summer and an electric heater in winter. The front window overlooks the courtyard and has a tiramol, a traditional way of drying laundry from building to building (for those who want to try). There's also a tumble dryer. Guests have coffee, teas, hygiene supplies and cleaning supplies at their disposal. Please clean and store everything you use immediately, so that other guests can use it. We ask all guests to keep the common areas tidy, so that everyone is comfortable and comfortable.
