This one-room schoolhouse was built in 1840, and has been completely renovated into a private retreat for two — original timbers and antique sliding doors preserved, modernized around a king bed, propane fireplace, private hot tub on the covered deck, and an oversized rain-shower for two. An hour from Saratoga, easy reach to Cobleskill, Howe Caverns, and the southern Adirondacks. Built for couples who want somewhere that doesn't feel like everywhere else. The space The Space The schoolhouse is ~800 square feet of fully private space for two — bedroom, bathroom, living area, kitchen, and a covered back deck with a private hot tub. Antique sliding barn doors (salvaged from another 19th-century schoolhouse) separate the bedroom and bathroom. They're original, they're beautiful, and they don't seal like modern doors — for two people, it's part of the story.
