Please note that the space and ceiling height are limited, making it more suitable for guests of average size. Guest access The apartment is located on a quiet, traditional alleyway in Alfama (Beco do Espírito Santo), adding to its authentic charm. Please note that access requires climbing a steep and narrow staircase up to the third floor, as the building does not have an elevator. Because of this, the apartment is not recommended for guests with mobility issues or very heavy luggage. Other things to note - The building does not have an elevator. - Guests must complete a government-required ID form before arrival. - Check-in is self-guided, with clear instructions and access codes provided on the day of check-in. - If guests lock themselves out of the property or they do not place keys in the lockbox (If applicable) at checkout, a 50 euros fee will apply. - If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80 euros fee will apply. While Alfama is typically peaceful, local festivals (especially in May and June) can bring vibrant nighttime activity that may last past 2 AM.
