Beautifully restored 3br/1ba plantation home in Waialua in Oahu's North Shore. Short drive to Haleiwa, Waimea, Sunset Beach and Pipeline. The North Shore has no high rise buildings and is the antithesis of the resort experience. Rather, here locals and visitors intermingle, the waves are world-class, and there's plenty of open space. The gorgeous kitchen, dining area and open living will make you feel right at home! This plantation style house was remodeled in 2022 with all new appliances. It has a fully equipped kitchen that even includes a high-end induction stove, Vitamix, Instant pot, Air fryer, ice maker and Berkey water filter. The space is perfect for families, solo adventurers or friends! There is a pinball table in the living room, plus puzzles and board games! There is a beautiful orange tree in the property, feel free to grab oranges and make delicious fresh squeezed orange juice (there's a citrus juicer in the kitchen!). There is a big AC unit in the living room + ceiling fans in all 3 bedrooms. The backyard is equipped with gas barbecue, picnic table, sitting area and a big, private new skate bowl (protective gear strongly recommended, skate at your own risk). House is a plantation style floor plan, all on one floor. Great for all ages. Sleeps 7. Our guests will be offered a code to have fully and private access to the house. Guests will have a assigned parking spot. The home is part of two detached houses (detached 3br house + detached studio in the back of the property), both with private entrances. The only shared space is the laundry room in the basement. You will have a beautiful, private, plantation house just for you and your group! Waialua is a country town located on the North Shore of Oahu. This former sugarcane plantation town has generations of families living and working on the North Shore and is a small tight knit community. Just a short 40 min drive from the Honolulu International Airport. Waialua and the North Shore are home to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. We are located just a short 5 min. drive to some of the most isolated beaches on the island and within 10 miles of some of the best surfing spots in the world (during the winter) and some of the best places for snorkeling and swimming (during the summer). We are also less then 10 min away from Mokuleia Beach which is one of the best kitesurfing spots on the island. There are several small restaurants and shops in Haleiwa Town, 5 min away by car and home to the world famous Matsumoto Shave Ice. There are numerous restaurants, shops, coffee shops, surf shops and grocery stores all in Haleiwa. In the North Shore there are so many things to see and do such as swimming, whale watching, fishing, hiking, snorkeling, sky diving, surfing, diving, SUP, turtle watching and enjoying the most beautiful beaches! Just a short drive up the hill is the largest pineapple plantation on the island known as The Dole Plantation. The Turtle Bay resort is located at the tip of the island where the North Shore and East shore meet and it is here you can play golf, ride horses, watch amazing sunsets from the pool bar and enjoy some fantastic restaurants such as Lei Lei’s or Roy’s. A short drive further down the east side is the Polynesian Cultural Center with local activities such as hula and fire dancing shows (“luau”) and guests can see reenactments of how Polynesian Cultures lived and often still live today. We recommend you rent a car. There are so many places and beaches to visit all over the island! Please be respectful of noise levels from 10pm till 8am. Loud or unruly behavior is restricted by local ordinance and may result in citation or arrest by local law enforcement. Alcohol in the possession of minors is not permitted; as well as illegal possession of controlled substances by any guest. Breaching of these provision(s) will result in the guest(s) being asked to leave as well as the forfeiture of payment. Please don’t be that guest, it’s just bad mojo.
