Barn in Somerset
Description
Our newly converted barn is set in the peaceful hamlet of Waterrow, on the B3227 (the scenic old A361 route to North Devon), close to the Somerset/Devon border and just east of Exmoor National Park. It’s an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to Exmoor, the Quantocks, and both the North Somerset and East Devon coastlines — ideal for anyone looking to experience the beauty of this unspoilt part of the country. The space You’ll be staying in a newly converted single-storey barn annex, accessed via a private farm track through the neighbouring farm’s gate. Your accommodation is a self-contained, luxurious annex with its own private entrance. The spacious bedroom features a super-king bed and an en-suite bathroom, equipped with modern comforts including underfloor heating, an illuminated bathroom mirror, Wi-Fi, and a TV — everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The setting is peaceful and quiet, though you may occasionally hear a tractor from the neighbouring farm — part of the charm of rural life! In the evening, the night sky here is incredible, making it perfect for stargazing. If you’re travelling with four-legged friends, they are very welcome to enjoy our 3-acre field, which can be accessed through the metal gate to the left of the barn. Requests for additional guests are considered — please get in touch to discuss your plans. Guest access The barn is reached via a private farm track and through a farm gate. On-site parking is available directly outside the annex for your convenience. During your stay I’m available 24/7 — feel free to call or message me at any time during your stay, and I’ll be happy to assist with any questions or concerns. Other things to note Please note the property is located next to a neighbouring farm, so guests may occasionally hear tractors and see or hear a small number of farm animals
