Description
This is a beautiful property on a large, spring fed lake in rural Maine! A post and beam "camp" on East Grand Lake in Danforth, Maine. The camp is about 1000 square feet with 400 ft of water frontage on two wooded acres. The camp was built 20 years ago, but still looks really good! :) There is a beach with an excellent swimming area, a dock, canoe, two person peddle kayak, fire pits, etc. If you would like to bring a small motor boat, please reach out for docking information. The space The camp is all pine on the inside with beautiful wood floors. There are two bedrooms (one with queen and one with bunk beds) on the first floor and a loft upstairs with two queen beds, a full bathroom on 1st floor with a small washer/dryer, a living room, fully stocked kitchen, an enclosed porch, a large deck, parking for 4+ cars and tons of outdoor space. Guest access All access Other things to note Our internet service was upgraded to Fidium 1G fiber optics. Excellent service! Boat information: You can pull a small 15 ft boat onto our beach and secure with a winch. Anything bigger than 15 ft you could use our boat lift for an additional $30/day fee. You should plan to bring everything you need for at least the first few days of your stay. There's a small grocery store (Knight's Grocery) and the Mill Yard (gas/restaurant) and another small restaurant in town. You will need to travel to Houlton or Lincoln for a more shopping options. There is a canoe, two person kayak, corn hole, many games, magazines and books for you to enjoy during your stay. The home/property is not child proof and therefore will need to be supervised carefully on the stairs, near windows, on the property, beach and dock. Bring everything you need to make sure they are safe and comfortable (IE life jackets, beach shoes, bug spray...)
