The private room is at the top of a wooden staircase. Coded key box access for easy self check in. Sliding glass door from the balcony to the cozy room with private bathroom. This balcony and Vista room are only accessible to the guests of the Vista room. It overlooks the sprawling yard and the valley of Seneca Lake. The lake is viewable at certain times of the year but the view is stunning even when it is not. We are located minutes from dozens of wineries on the Seneca Lake East Wine Trail, the Finger Lakes National Forest and Watkins Glen State Park. The house is located right on State Route 414, so you may hear some road noise during your stay. Public transportation is limited out here, so having your own car is essential. There are many limo and coach services for hire in the area if you are interested in hiring a driver for the day. Uber has recently come to the Finger Lakes, but may have limited availability. Parking is provided during your stay. Please park in the driveway immediately to the right of the house facing the stairs to your room. The house is located right on State Route 414, so you may hear some road noise during your stay. The Stonecat cafe, directly next door to the guest house, occasionally hosts live music (which may be audible from your room).
