Bring your family or friends to stay in this wonderful classic English century-old house in the Yale neighborhood on weekends or holidays. It is convenient to walk or take the free school bus from the front door to the city center and campus. Enjoy a spacious and comfortable private space with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The room can accommodate a total of 7 guests. The biggest feature of this house is the Lindan tea space on the first floor. In the atmosphere full of Chinese traditional tea culture, you can have a quiet, elegant, warm and comfortable tea space at any time without leaving home. You and your family and friends only need to order a cup of pure Chinese tea or strong coffee with soothing music, your body energy can be quickly replenished, and your soul is released in soothing. The space Our house is an old American style with Chinese culture together. This 100+ year old mansion is located close to campus and downtown. You'll enjoy living in a family home that evokes of a grand mansion with modern amenities. You'll love it even more if you're interested in a mix of cultures with fine Chinese and American furnishings and appointments and Chinese tea culture. You will have opportunity to learn traditional Chinese Gongfu tea experience at LindanTeaSpace in the house. You never know who you might meet at our home. We often host many different countries guests who are professors, researchers, post-doc students, Yale grads, parents, and visitors to Yale University. Our home is a gathering place for the Yale community. This room is such large space on the third floor in the house. There are two queen size beds and a twin size bed setting in the room, can offer an extra air mattress for sixth guest, but you will not feel too crowd. There is a shared a bathroom with a hot tub on the third floor. It is a relatively independent space and quiet.The room has four windows that daylighting is very good. It has a large space with wardrobes that are enough for long-stay guests. two office desks are offered to our guests who love to sit working in the room with a nice view through the window. Also there are a comfortable sofa for guests to relax in the room. Reminder: Our booking policy for these prime dates of Yale graduation weekend is a minimum of two nights for all rooms. Guest access We shared the kitchen, living room(tea space area) , backyard deck and front of yard. During your stay My family and I are excited to provide you with a relaxing and enjoyable stay in New Haven. All guests will get a experience of traditional Chinese Gongfu tea by Lindan at her tea space during your stay. Free service laundry once a week for over booking one week guests. Please feel free to contact us if we may offer assistance during your stay. Other things to note This is our private family style experience Airbnb. If guest not respect the propertry and doesn't want to respect the house rules that will not welcome to stay at our home.
