La Maison Carrée, 4-star gîte is a village house, located in the middle of charming streets, close to shops, a museum and an abbey church in the center of the medieval village of St Antoine l'abbaye which is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. A jewel in picturesque countryside, this village with many festivities throughout the year, is the central point of many tourist sites quickly accessible within a short 8 to 30 km radius. The space We restored this old 16th century building in a retro style combining modernity, comfort and old-fashioned charm, while preserving the authenticity of its architecture as much as possible! It includes three levels with tasteful decor: ground floor for a space for relaxation and rest, (as well as toilets) then upstairs the living room, with Renaissance fireplace, kitchen-living room-dining room area and finally on the top level a spacious bedroom and office, bathroom and separate toilets. The rooms are bright and spacious. We hope that its charm will seduce you as much as we have envisioned and that you will feel good about it for a pleasant stay. The walls on the ground floor are made of eco-friendly and breathable earth bricks and wooden studs. The kitchen furniture is made of walnut, and crafted from antique furniture.
