Only 6 miles from Gibside, a fabulous National Trust property with wonderful walks and home to some of the red kites spotted around the area. The pretty Roman town of Corbridge is only 25 minutes by car, where you can see some of the Roman Forts along the wall. The vibrant city of Newcastle is only 6 miles away; experience some real ‘Geordie’ hospitality whilst soaking in the atmosphere along the popular Grey Street oozing character, with the Theatre Royal and a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants for all ages. The iconic Quayside is a must; take a selfie under the famous Tyne Bridge for a lasting memory.
