Chez Zany - Copacabana is quite close to Copacabana beach (5 min walk), close to metro lines, bus lines, a lot of restaurants and markets. You will find anything in Copacabana. we are pet-friendly, vegan-friendly, lgbtq+-friendly, netflix/hbo/prime friendly and chocolat-friendly. if you are looking for a place to stay longer, we recommend Chez Zany - Santa Teresa. we designed as a home hostel: a place for you to experience being a local in Rio. In other words, if you arrive early in Rio de Janeiro, you can come straight to the house, and we'll store your luggage. But for that, we need you to inform us of your estimated arrival time. However, check-in for the ROOM is only after 3 pm - we will do our best to have the room ready as early as possible. CHECK-OUT: The check-out for the room is until 12am, BUT you can stay in the house and/or leave your luggage with us and return later to pick them up. We don’t have 24/7 reception and we will use airbnb/message apps to contact each other during your stay. We also don’t have cleaners everyday and we believe in mutual cooperation, thus we hope you to respect the house and the others guests keeping it clean and organized. If everyone does it's part, everyone can stay comfortable and happy =) WELL, BUT WHY IS SO AFFORDABLE? In order to keep a good price we reduced the overall staff - we host volunteers to help us with the house management but if you have any doubts or want extra info we can assist you through message apps. We also don’t have cleaners everyday, we hope you respect the house and keep it clean, so we can stay affordable =) HOUSE RULES: Rule nº1 - Meet people! The house is made for it =) There are more rooms in the house, full of nice travelers with nice histories. Get to know them. Rule nº2 - Your safety is the safety of other guests - always lock the house door and take care with your keys. Rule nº3 - Extra guest/friends/etc are not allowed, due safety hazards. Please, respect it. Othes rules - We will let you know as soon as you arrive, but those are the most important \o QUIET HOURS: You can arrive at any time but we kindly ask you to make silence after 11pm to 8am. Let’s respect the other guests. SMOKING POLICY - If you want to smoke, we highly recommend for you to do it in the outside area or on the terrace. Guest access You will have access to the kitchen, the garden, living room and bathrooms.
