The Cozy Room

Time to kick back and relax and enjoy your stay. Casa dell'Amore bed and breakfast offers 2 rooms to choose from and are listed on Airbnb. We refer to this room as The Cozy Room. You will find all the amenities you would expect and more, including a home-cooked breakfast each morning during your stay with us. You will find a breakfast menu in your room. Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable as possible with a "home away from home" welcoming. The space Please, adults 25 and older only. No children, pets or support animals. 2 person max. No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes, anywhere in the house, rooms or pool/spa areas. Your room will have: - hi speed internet - queen size bed - full bath - mini refrigerator/freezer with complimentary orange juice, yogurt and bottled water. There is also Klondike bars in the freezer. - microwave - coffee maker - ice bucket (ice maker located at bar in living room) - assortment of coffee k-pods and creamers - snack basket - with chips, cookies, pop corn, crackers, etc. - hair dryer - lighted make-up mirror - 2 terry cloth bath robes for spa room and poolside - walk-in closet with iron and ironing board, luggage rack and full length mirror ~You will receive a bottle of wine as a gift for staying with us. Just let us know your favorite varietal the day prior to your arrival. On the evening of your arrival, Jim will make his famous homemade Crème Brûlée, with a torched sugar topping, fruit and Cool Whip on top for an evening dessert.~ The Cozy Room has a 65" TV, a desk and chair, bedside tables and dresser. It also has adjacent access to the pool and spa through the bath area. There is access to a shared laundry room with washer and dryer. Bottled water is available in your room refrigerator or in the large refrigerator located in the laundry room. You will have access to the kitchen, dinning room, bar, spa room, and the living room which has a fireplace you're welcome to use during cooler months of the year if you so desire. We want you to feel right at home, so if there is something additional we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please do not hesitate to ask. SPA ROOM** **(Please Note: All massages are only available to those guests visiting 2 or more nights, and not available for single night visitors.) Ready to relax, unwind and let yourself go? We offer a complimentary spa treatment to help you do just that. Our Spa Room has 2 Massage Tables, Linens, Towels, Essential Oil Diffuser, Massage Oils, Assorted Men's and Women's Body Lotions from Bath and Body Works and Streaming Spa Music. The complimentary massage is available for all guests individually and provided by your host, Jim. A four-hand experience is available for an additional fee of $15 per person and provided by Jim and Patty. A couples massage is available for an additional fee of $30 per couple and provided by Jim and Patty. The spa room is also available to couples, for their own personal use. POOL/SPA (Clothing Optional) There is a pool and spa (Hot Tub) which overlooks a nature preserve with hillside views. The spa is large enough to seat 15 and has an infinity edge and fountain features and is open year round. The pool has a full length faux infinity edge. The pool and spa are clothing optional. There are 6' privacy screens, which can be extended, on either side of the pool and spa and can be used during the day for additional privacy. In the pool area, we have a propane fire pit which can be used at any time during your stay. The fire pit has seating for 4. There is also seating for 2 at the spa. On the lower level, from the pool, there is a sofa and 2 side chairs, dining table and chairs and a gas grill. NOTE: Because of it's size we do not keep the spa (hot tub) heated continuously. When getting into the spa, please let us know we will heat for you. At night under the stars is wonderful. However, anytime during the day or evening is great as well. Music is streamed patio and pool side. If you would like different music than what is streaming, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Guest access Guests will have access to kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry room, spa room, pool and spa as well as the patio, grill and outside dining table and chairs. There is a counter top icemaker located in the bar area in the living room. During your stay We are Jim and Patty, both retired and have **3 small fur-babies, Nellie, Chloe and Daisy. We love to entertain, drink wine, and of course we can't imagine ourselves without a pool, hot tub and spa room. It is ageless fun for everyone. We are very open-minded sociable night owls and love interacting with our guests, but we will always respect your privacy as well. If you enjoy socializing, having a great time in a relaxing environment, Casa dell'Amore may be just the place for you to visit. We hope you will come stay with us. You will be welcomed with open arms. NOTE: If you happen to leave your toiletries, i.e., toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, deodorant, etc., at home, we probably have what you need, so please do not hesitate to ask. NOTE: **During your stay at Casa dell'Amore, there will probably be a time of interaction with our dog children. They are sweet, playful, shy and love people. During the day they will roam to and from their side yard. If you are not a dog person or persons, or have allergies to dogs, this BnB would probably not be suited for you. Other things to note Our home is located just over a nature preserve. If you are into walking or hiking, there are trails in the nature preserve with different levels from flat (easy) to hills (difficult). If you like wildlife, you will love it here. We have deer all year around in the nature preserve, our yard, and the entire subdivision. Please be watchful of deer during your stay while driving. There is nothing more relaxing, serene, and with sense of an at home feeling as there is in the Texas hill country. Most people here are very warm and welcoming. You will find we are central to most towns in the hill country such as San Antonio, Austin, Wimberley, San Marcus, Blanco, Johnson City, Fredericksburg, Boerne, Kerrville, etc. You will find a plethora of things to do and see during your stay.
