Description
Pretty, bright, spacious, and comfortable house in a fantastic neighbourhood (Brockton Village / Little Portugal), an easy Uber / streetcar ride to downtown, the U of Toronto, etc. (or 15-20 min by bike). You'll be around the corner from great restaurants, bars, and shops as well as the streetcar stops on Dundas and College, and just up the block from a rec centre (pool, weight room). Also convenient to Queen St West and the shops and restaurants on Roncesvalles, with High Park just beyond. The space This 3-story, 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom Toronto row house was built in 1911 and renovated several times since. The 1st and 2nd floors were renovated most recently, and there are some nice architectural details (stained glass downstairs and a curved wall in the master bedroom with an interior leaded-glass window). 1st floor: open-plan living/dining room, large kitchen, half bathroom, access to small back yard. The living room has a 43" smart TV with Roku. 2nd floor: 3 bedrooms, bathroom. The master bedroom (blue, in the front of the house) has a queen bed; the middle bedroom (yellow) has a double-sized bed, along with a nice workspace and USB laser printer (note, the middle bedroom does not have a proper door, but there is a curtain to provide privacy, as you can see in the picture); the rear bedroom (orange) has a double. PLEASE NOTE: As just mentioned, the middle bedroom does not have a proper door, but there is a curtain to provide privacy, as you can see in the picture. The bathroom is between the middle and rear bedrooms, sharing adjacent walls with each (a common layout for houses of the era), and its sink is quite small. 3rd floor, a converted and finished attic, with angled roof: bedroom (double); den with a couch, coffee table, and desk; bathroom. Please Note: While this floor was not renovated along with the 1st and 2nd floors, it has been upgraded for comfort. A brand new and more powerful central A/C and furnace system were installed, and the bedroom now has its own dedicated air conditioner, ensuring a cool and comfortable stay even during the summer months. Basement: laundry room with washer and dryer. Parking: the house does not have its own parking, but on-street permit parking is easily available for purchase (search online for "toronto temporary on-street permit parking").
