Relax in this beautiful old coach house, under an hour from London and located 1 mile away from the picturesque Georgian market town of Odiham. The area boasts fantastic country pubs, scenic walks, an incredible farm shop and plenty of activities come rain or shine for all the family. On the doorstep is 32 miles of canal, restored for the benefit of walkers, canoeists and naturalists. There’s even preserved ruins of a 13th Century castle walking distance from the house. The space A lovingly converted Georgian coach house set in a peaceful Hampshire village. There is a spacious sitting room with a log burner to keep cosy, a 4K TV with Netflix and plenty of books & board games for all the family. A spacious, well-fitted and stocked kitchen including an oven, hob, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and a larder cupboard leading out onto a south facing patio. You'll find all the basic utensils you need in there. Adjacent to the sitting room there is a large bedroom which looks out onto the patio. On the first floor, there is a comfortable double bedroom which boasts a desk for home working overlooking the garden. It also has a modern bathroom with a bath and shower and some toiletries and towels are provided. Egyptian cotton bed linen is used throughout all the bedrooms. There is a cot in the first floor bedroom. Both bedrooms are very quiet and have king-size beds. Guest access The entire cottage is for the sole use of guests and there is private access from the drive. Other things to note The property has 73.9Mbps fibre broadband with full coverage, perfect for working from home. It has a small south facing private patio with table and chairs. Newlands Farm is a fantastic local farm shop, a 2 minute drive from the house. It has a butchers, bakers, cheese room, wine and gin emporium and sells fantastic fresh, local produce. It also has a wine tasting room which you can book to do during your stay!! Perfect for a lazy Sunday morning coffee and slap up full English. Odiham boasts local tea rooms, a COOP mini supermarket, post office, Chinese restaurant, amazing country pubs (The Bel and Dragon is our favourite) and lovely little boutique shops. Basingstoke only is 12 mins away by car. Taxis from the train station cost £16 with Alpha Taxis (found at the station). Hartley Witney is 8 minutes away by car.
