Charming, historic home conveniently located a 1/2 block from Whitman College and a 10 minute walk to downtown. This home has 2,200 sq feet of space with 1 queen bed, 1 king bed, and a full over full bunk bed with trundle. We also have a pack-in-play if needed. The inside living space is open and welcoming. Comfortable seating to relax and rejuvenate. The living room has a comfortable sitting area with large windows, gas fireplace, karaoke machine, and a BOSE radio system. The main floor tv room has an apple TV and a Blu-ray player with a selection of movies. The dining room sits in front of a large window and can sit up to 8 and is ready for a great dinner or an evening of board games and puzzles. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven, microwave, fridge, Vitamix, toaster/air fryer, popcorn air popper, tea kettle, French press and dishwasher. The first floor has a formal living room, dining room, kitchen, a bedroom with a queen bed, a 1/2 bath, and a TV room. Through the tv room is a stairway up to the 2nd floor where there is a en suite bedroom with a king bed and bathroom, and then there is another bedroom with a full over full bunk bed. There is also another bathroom. In the common area outside these bedrooms is treadmill (yoga mats and bands also) a toy room. All mattresses are new Tuft & Needle mattresses (non toxic). Outside the home offers a few adirondack chairs, a bbq, a tree swing for kids, a shaded yard, a fenced in private backyard and evening patio lights. The house has a driveway though it’s a little tight for big cars. Street parking is available on Fulton St (side street) and across the street on the south side of University street (not on the north side). This is our primary residence and our basement renovation will hopefully be complete by the end of 2024. Sauna coming soon! Thank you for bearing with us! We recently put in a small basement apartment for my father-in-law. He is a world traveler and occasionally needs a place to touch down in between his travels. He may or may not be there and you most likely won’t see him if he is in town. You may hear the exterior backdoor close occasionally if he comes and goes. His apartment is key coded and so is our guests entrance to the house. We are readily available through text and emails should guests have questions or need recommendations. This historic home is located in a charming tree lined neighborhood near Whitman College (we can see campus from our front door) and we love hosting Whitman families, tennis campers, and tourists. The house is walking distance to downtown, local restaurants, and many different wineries and tasting rooms. Seasonally, the Farmers Market is within walking distance where you can find fresh produce and local products. Street parking available on Fulton St (side street) and across the street on the south side of University street (not on the north side). Guests will have access to a Weber charcoal grill if wanted. Also, even though this home has central air, the upstairs can get warm when it is hot outside. Parties and events are not allowed.
