River Bends is a private campsite in the bend of a river flowing through a deep limestone ravine and old Totara and Matai forest, it is situated in open space allowing access to stunning views of the surrounding rock formations, river features and bushland. Composting toilet and clean water on tap are provided at the site, along with picnic table and a small firepit. The space Fancy a dip in the river, or a walk through the forest. There's also a rock climbing wall if you have your own gear. Other things to note Please refrain from walking down river as this can be dangerous and do not attempt to interact with farm animals or wild life, especially the eels are not to be caught or eaten!
