Welcome to our holiday home Luddastova, located in the village of Leynar in the Faroe Islands! Luddastova is an old, cozy vacation home in a quiet environment. The space The house has a double bed and a bunk bed, which provides space for 4 overnight guests. In addition, we have a crib available for smaller children. We would also like to point out that there is a sofa bed in the living room that can accommodate another 2 people, but it is important to note that it can be bright in the living room. We offer free parking, wireless internet, TV, gas grill, washer and dryer. Bed linen and towels are also included. Other things to note Leynar is a small, quiet and cozy village that offers a breathtaking experience of the Faroe Islands. The town is located on Leynasandur beach, which is a popular bathing and recreational area in summer. If you are interested in salmon fishing, Lake Leynavatn will also be an ideal place to visit. (However, it requires you to buy a fishing permit to fish in Leynavatn). Leynar is just a drive of less than 30 minutes from both the airport and the capital, making it easy to explore and enjoy all the Faroe Islands have to offer. There is no store in the village, but there is a gas station only 5 km away and a grocery store 13 km away. To get the most out of your stay, we recommend that you rent or have access to a car, as it allows you to explore the area easily. There is room for 2-3 cars outside the house, unless there is snow or ice. In that case, the cars must be parked down on the road, as the slope up to the house is steep. It takes a good 3 minutes to walk up to the house.
