Welcome to our bright and spacious Guest Suite! Enjoy your own private entrance, a relaxing indoor hot tub, and a secluded courtyard all to yourself. Conveniently located in central Nanaimo, you’ll have easy access to everything you need—just a 750m walk to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital and a quick 7-minute drive to the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal. The space Our open-concept guest suite is designed with comfort and convenience in mind. You'll find a fully stocked kitchen complete with a full-size fridge, oven, microwave, and all the essentials you need for cooking. The bar-height dining table seats four and is perfect for meals or planning your day’s adventures. The bedroom features a brand-new queen-size bed, along with a full set of dressers and closet space for your use. In the living room, there's a double pull-out sofa with a memory foam mattress to ensure a restful sleep. If you’d like the second bed made up before your arrival, just let us know! The modern bathroom area includes a spacious walk-in shower, large vanity, washing machine, and dryer. The toilet is separated for added privacy and convenience. You’ll also have exclusive, private access to our indoor hot tub, set to a relaxing 102°F. Please note that the temperature is preset and cannot be adjusted. The suite opens onto a fully private, enclosed courtyard—perfect for storing bikes or outdoor gear, and completely hidden from street view. We are a non-smoking, cat-friendly household. While our cat does not enter the guest suite, please keep this in mind if you have severe allergies. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. We also have two small children, so we kindly ask all guests to observe quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM—and we’ll do our best to return the favor. No Cleaning Fee: We don’t charge a cleaning fee, as we take care of everything ourselves. In return, we simply ask that you tidy up before checkout—things like washing your dishes, gathering used towels and tidying up any mess - It helps us keep the space fresh and welcoming for everyone. Thank you for your consideration! Guest access Please note: The guest suite is a newly renovated private apartment located at ground level below our primary residence. You will have access to the entirety of the guestsuite including kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, hot tub room and courtyard. Parking details: The parking spot is a graveled spot, separate from the paved driveway. The designated spot is a bit narrow and located beside a ditch, so please take care when parking. Access to the suite is from a private off-street parking spot, down a separate entrance and through a private courtyard. The suite’s entrance is through the hot tub room and the door is locked by a code that will be provided to you before your stay.
