Welcome to our secluded hilltop cozy home full of art, flowers, and a great view of Cook Inlet! We are are close to the Kasilof River and 20 minutes from Kenai and Soldotna. You'll love the handcrafted log atmosphere, the distinct theme of each bedroom, the open floor plan upstairs for living and kitchen area, fireplace, the upper decks and lower decks with fish cleaning area and freezer storage for your catch, the spacious 17 acres of lawns, pond ( with canoe), gardens and greenhouses with food and flowers and cedar wood hot tub, hammock...need we say more? The space Our property offers a unique Alaska experience of old time homestead days and nature all around. Host is an artist and gardener, and the place reflects that. Guest access Guests will enjoy the shared space of upstairs open kitchen dining living area and french doors to deck with barbecue and seating amongst profuse flowers and a view of Mt Redoubt. Other things to note Their are beds for 10 adults, but children can be added with portable cribs of blow up mattresses. There is a corgie and a cat on the premises, who are not allowed in bedrooms at all, and only occasionally in the great room area. This is to be considerate of those with pet allergies. Also, there fore, we do not welcome pets to be brought to the home, unless kept outdoors.
