Foxhall Cottage
Description
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy the peace and quiet at Foxhall Cottage. Throw the ball for Sirius and play with the chick's and goose ! We have an interest in the out door life and music, particularly traditional Irish music. The space Our cottage is a cosy place to relax and unwind. Guests have access to our gardens with wild life and farm animals sharing the space. We are located in the Historic Boyne Valley Close to Monasterboice round Tower. The Passage graves of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth are about 12km away. The coastal villages of Clogherhead and Annagassan are 15 mins away with excellent local seafood and long beaches to walk and swim. The picturesque villages of Slane and Collon are nearby with distillery tours and good restaurants and pubs. Guest access Guests have access to our gardens, including outdoor seating dotted around the grounds. Guests are requested to park in front of the black gates at the end of the main house if possible. Other things to note There will be some animals loose around the grounds such as our dog, hens and ducks. WiFi is available but is not always fantastic but works for basic Internet access. Please ask if further access needed or any problems encountered. Hot water is provided primarily by Solar. Water may be extremely hot or may be just adaquate. IMPORTANT NOTE 1 Please note we have our own private pumped sewage system. No sanitary items / contraceptives are to be flushed in the toilet. Please use the plastic bags and sanitary bin provided. Failure to do this will result in blocking the system and causing huge expense and annoyance. IMPORTANT NOTE 2 Please note the cottage, although completly separate to our house is part of an overall family home, it is suitable for tourists and people on a weekend break or work stays. It is NOT suitable for Internet hook ups. There are many hotels available for that !. Refusal may offend. Apologies in advance.
