Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This primitive (tent or vehicle) campsite sits on 20 acres of serene rural land. Interact with the free-range chickens, meditate in a quiet spot, or rent the Firebush Pavilion to enjoy a pool and outdoor kitchen with your family or friends. All campsites have 24/7 access to a climate-controlled bathroom facility with 2 full bathrooms. The space Wildflower Ranch sits away from highway, city, and neighbor noises and offers unobstructed views of stars at night. The entire property is fully fenced, so it is safe for your dogs to run around, provided you follow the house rules. The Dune Sunflower campsite sits on the east side of the property and offers nearly 360 degree views of endless green spaces. Walk through the fruit trees and blackberries and take what you like. Locate gopher tortoise burrows (but don't get too close) and wave at all the fox squirrels. Play volleyball with your friends or stroll through the round-pen-turned-garden and check out the Datil pepper plants which we use to make our datil sauce and datil vinegar (available for sale). Guest access The campsite has a dedicated 6 ft picnic table with benches, and a fire pit. You will need to bring your own tent, hammock, and other camping items you require. The bathrooms are located about 250 feet from the campsite. Next to the bathrooms is an open-air gym available via purchase of a day pass at $5 per person per day. The pool and pool patio are available via purchase of a day pass only when the Firebush Pavilion campsite is not privately booked. Day passes are $10 per person who uses the pool. Other things to note Firewood is available for $10 for about 1.3 cu ft (twice the volume you get at a retail/grocery store). A half-dozen of multi-colored eggs from our free-ranging chickens is $4 for the first one and $3 for refills of the carton. We grow Datil peppers onsite and make homemade hot sauce and flavored vinegar with them. These are available for sale as well in two different sizes. Potable water is free and available a few places around the property, including a spring water dispenser inside the bathroom entrance.
