Finca Cacique offers a full immersion in preserved wild nature, just 350 meters from the village of Cacique. One of the highlights of staying at our property is that you won't need a car to explore. Our location is close to all major attractions. For a unique adventure, rent our kayaks to explore the surrounding islands, the reef, the mangroves and the Tunnel of Love... or take a boat tour. This is an ideal retreat for nature lovers. (Please note that this is not a beachfront property.) The space In Finca Cacique we rent 1 studio and 1 apartment. This apartment has 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed and other with a full bed), full bathroom, kitchen with stove, living room, dinning area and a beautiful garden with hammocks and patio furniture. Traditional rustic bambu furniture blends into exotic tropical environment. 🌿 Ideal for nature lovers seeking peace and adventure. (This is not a beachfront property, the beach is a 5-minute walk). Guest access Guests have access to the shared areas of the property, including the surrounding patio. These green spaces are perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, reading a book, or simply immersing yourself in nature. Tropical wildlife frequently visits the area — you may spot monkeys, sloths, and a wide variety of birds right from the garden. The garden is also ideal for sunbathing and relaxing in the hammocks. Other things to note Finca Cacique is perfect for both weekend getaways and long-term stays, offering all the comforts you need, including high-speed internet (Starlink). Cacique is a natural paradise. Nearby attractions include: -Little white sand beaches and natural pools perfect for swimming and snorkeling. -Kayaking: Rent our two single kayaks to explore the surrounding islands and the Tunnel of Love through the mangroves. -Trekking: La Represa trail, accessible by car, takes you to a virgin forest where jaguars and harpy eagles live. -Island Tours: Local boats can take you to Isla Grande, Isla Mamey, Isla el Sordo, Isla Paulina, Isla Linton, Tunnel of Love, Playa Blanca, and Venas Azules. Location: Please note that the last 4 km are an unpaved dirt road. Sedan cars can access the property without problems, as long as you drive carefully. Electricity: Please note that electricity blackouts may occur due to the remote location. When there is no electricity, water pressure will be lower as it works with gravity, but you will still have running water. There is no hot water available in the shower.
